Story
Mrs. Bishop is a stunning young lady who was abandoned in the country. A nice lady fed her as she patiently waited for her humans to return. They never did though. So she is safe with us now and aside from being malnourished she is healthy and happy. She loves other dogs and people of all sizes. She currently weighs 43 pounds and is around 1-2 years old. She loves to meet new people and go for walks and rides. If Mrs. Bishop sounds like she might be the right match for you, or if you want to check out more of our wonderful pets for adoption, please visit ffpets.org to read all about our TN-based rescue and how the adoption and transport process works and to submit your application! Her adoption fee is $400 and transport is an additional $200 This pet is currently in a foster home in TN and will be transported north after the adoption is complete. To see the meeting locations, please click on the transport tab at ffpets.org.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
to adopt or ask questions:  https://dogs2ndchance.org/    Robbie the Reindeer was found right before Christmas, hence the name! He is super friendly, happy-go-lucky guy with lots of love to give. Robbie is friendly with people and love to play! He gets along with other dogs and cats. He is house broken, crate trained, very playful and energetic. He does great in the car and loves to go on new adventures. He would make a wonderful family dog for those that enjoy being active and playing outside. He needs some obedience, but all around a very smart pup. I was heartworm positive.  I went thru treatment on March 16th.  I am due to be retested on or around September 16th.  If I am adopted before then, the rescue I am with will over the cost of my retest. Thank you for considering adopting a new family member. Memphis area adoption fee is $200      All dogs are spayed or neutered {unless medical issues prohibit the surgery}, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested {if old enough} and treated if necessary. They also are de-wormed and start heartworm and flea prevention when rescued. It is continued until adopted. Adopter is furnished with their 1st month's heartworm prevention. ** Out of State adoption fee is $425  and includes a $150.00 the non refundable transportation fee paid to an approved animal transportation company. Story
**A FENCED YARD IS REQUIRED**Aaron was a stray who showed up at a lady's house one day. As you can see by the smile on his face, he is a very happy boy!! He is very sweet and loves everyone, including children and other dogs. He is a little protective of his food, so we just watch him if he is eating around another dog. Aaron is a medium energy dog who loves to go for walks or simply play in the yard. He is house trained and crate trained. He is also a BIG fan of belly rubs and hanging out watching TV.He can jump fences so will need a secure, 6' privacy fence.Aaron's date of birth is 3/31/2019 and he weighs about 72 pounds. We had a DNA test done on Aaron and found out he is 37.5% Boxer, 12.5% Belgian Malinois, 12.5% Standard Bulldog, 12.5% Labrador Retriever, and 25%Breed Groups: Asian, Herding, Sighthound. & Terrier. All of our rescues are rehabilitated and once healthy are available for an adoption fee of $95 for cats and dogs. Because we care about our rescues and their future, some animals have certain new family requirements before they can be released to their new home. Requirements for adoption could include the following:• Fenced yard (required for most dogs) and home inspection for all animals; we will complete an onsite fence/home check prior to completing the adoption. *Fenced yard required. (We do not accept invisible fences.)• Veterinary reference for previous pet owners (must be/have been current on vaccinations and heartworm prevention)• If no previous veterinary history, purchase of 6 month heartworm prevention• If renting, verification with Landlord on acceptability of pets and any restrictions, pet deposit, etc.• Meet and greet with current pets to ensure compatibilityNote: We will call your current/previous veterinarian to verify that you have a history of providing vaccinations and heartworm prevention for your animal(s). Story
This is Rufus - he once had a family but they got a new dog. He was kicked out and left to survive on the streets. Rufus was shot and apparently hit by a vehicle and left in a ditch to die. He suffered a fractured leg, but he has overcome all the truama. Rufus loves everyone, he hasn't met a stranger people or pet. He does like to roam and can jump a 3-foot fence, but he would rather lay on the couch with you.
