Story
We adopted Ollie from a family in central Alabama. He was always a good dog, but was terrified of a leash, which led us to believe he had been abused. We worked with him, but the problem has never gotten better. He is a love bug unless you try to put a leash on him. He needs a person who will be strong and able to control him. He has lived with three other dogs, all much smaller than him, and never offered to harm them. He has never bitten anyone, but he will growl if you try the leash. I know there is someone out there who can help me. I don't want to put him in a shelter. He is a beautiful dog and needs someone who will care about him. The other reason I need a rescue is that my husband has dementia, and it has become very difficult to handle and care for Ollie and my husband. Ollie is 14 months old. Must be rescued before March 13th.

Story
Age: 5 years 6 months Why do you need to rehome Nova? She's very aggressive with my other female dog, I've done training. She's on trazadone and still fights leading to many vet visits costing me thousands. It's not fair for her to remain in a home that she's not happy in. How does your pet get along with dogs/cats? Not females Does your pet have any behavioral notes (digs/climb fences/food guarding/toy guarding, etc)? Toy guarding with other dogs. We call her the fun police when other dogs at home are playing, she gets worked up and barks at them a lot. I think she would thrive in a home with no pets. I love Nova so much she had no training when I adopted her. She's come a long way, but I can no longer care for her. My physical health is declining as well. I can't keep breaking up these fights. She's such a cutie I call her my little moo moo or derp lol. She loves cuddles, kisses, scratches and just being with her human.

Story
Meet Baby Girl – Your New Playful and Loving Companion! Baby Girl is a 2-year-old full-blooded Boxer (DOB: 02/14/2023) who is as sweet as she is playful. She absolutely loves children and gets along great with other dogs, though we’re not sure about cats. Baby Girl is full of energy and joy, so she’s looking for a home with someone who enjoys playtime and can match her fun-loving spirit! She is spayed, up-to-date on all her vaccinations, and is currently in the process of being crate-trained and housebroken. Baby Girl would thrive in a home where she can receive plenty of attention, so she would do best with a stay-at-home family member. A fenced-in yard with plenty of room to roam and play would be the ideal environment for her. Her current owners are an older couple who can no longer care for her due to health and age-related issues. Baby Girl is ready to find her forever home, where she can bring lots of love, playfulness, and happiness. Could that be with you? Story
Dewey is a big, beautiful boy with brains to match his good looks — and energy to spare! Under two years old, he’s still very much in his “young dog” phase, but he already has a great head start on basic obedience. He knows sit and stay, responds well to food rewards, and has shown great improvement with recall.   This sweet guy is very affectionate and loves his people. After he gets his wiggles out, he’s more than happy to cuddle up and “potato” with his family. He’s currently fostered in a busy home with multiple dogs and outdoor cats and does well with everyone.   Where Dewey will need continued support is with dog social manners. He sometimes struggles to read social cues from other dogs and would benefit from an owner who can confidently guide him and continue reinforcing appropriate behaviors.    Crate training may be helpful as house training is still in progress. Consistency and structure will be key to his success.   Dewey is looking for a family that sees his potential and is excited to keep building on it. With experience, patience, and continued training, this affectionate, smart, and sturdy boy will reward his people with loyalty, love, and plenty of personality.   ##2668172##
