Murphy is a 6 year old lovable Boxer/Pitsky mix. He is a gentle soul with a heart full of love. Murphy wants to be part of a family, playing in the backyard or by your side. We found Murphy wandering our neighborhood and despite every effort we have not been able to find the original owners. He has been staying with us but we're not in a position to keep him long term. Our goal now is to find him a loving, forever home. Murphy is up to date on all vaccinations and is on monthly preventatives. He's had basic obedience classes and would thrive in a fenced yard and/or space to run and play. Murphy would be the perfect addition to a family looking for a loyal, affectionate companion.

What I'm Looking For: I need a home with a backyard where I can let myself out when nature calls—especially at night. Think of me as needing a doggy door to my own personal bathroom. I'm housetrained and generally excellent about my business, but my tummy sometimes has midnight meetings I can't reschedule. While volunteers had him in a big play yard filled with toys and even a pool, he chose to hang out with the people, instead of exploring all the fun stuff around him. It really shows how much he values human connections. It's time to catch up for a few lost years and have a simpler dogs' life as part of the indoor family.
