2/28/2024 updated 4/6/2025 Ross aka Tucker is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Ross aka Tucker! I am a handsome 9-year-old brindle boy that is an owner surrender due to not being dog friendly and for everyone’s safety, it is best that I am the only dog in the home. My current home is next to a creek/golf club that is unfenced, and I do not get along with any animals that come into my yard. I am described as friendly, active, smart, playful, affectionate, and obedient! Like a typical boxer, I love kids! There are no kids in my current home but there are a lot of neighbor kids that I interact with and they love me! I am house trained and have had crate training in the past, but I am able to be trusted to freely roam the house when the humans are away. I initially bark when they leave the home but settle in once they are gone. Like a true king, at night I sleep on a stacked throne of 3 dog beds in the human’s bedroom. When outside, I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, Kong toys, bones, being brushed, and catching frisbees! My current family wants nothing more than for me to have a safe and active home for me to play and be loved! 6/25/2025 Diesel VII is an owner surrender looking for a new home. Hi! My name is Diesel VII ! I am a handsome 9 year old flashy brindle boy that is an owner surrender due to people moving into my home and my owner unable to financially care for me. I am described as smart, calm, protective, playful, affectionate, and obedient! I like to be the protector when at home but do well with strangers when being boarded or being watched by friends! I prefer people to ask my owner to touch me because I do not like strangers coming up to touch me without notice. I do not like to be poked at or bothered, so it would be best if I am in a home with no kids so I can relax. It is said that I am dog friendly and have had exposure to a shitzu, lab, and rottweiler with no issues. I have only seen cats from a distance and show signs of wanting to chase them so a cat free home would be best! I am house trained, crate trained, know basic commands, and at night I sleep in my crate in the living room but have slept on a dog bed before. If the humans must be away, I don't like to be alone but remain calm in my crate and wait for the humans to come back. When outside I do not attempt to jump fences/gates but I am curious what is under the grass and will dig to find out. I am scared of fireworks and do not like vacuums or being brushed with deshedding brushes. Some of my favorite things are playing tug of war, playing fetch, chewing bones, laying near the humans, and rough house play when the human initiates it! My current owner says I am a "sweet dog once you get to know me" and "once I realize you're taking care of me, I will show you love, loyalty, and protection"! Hi! My name is Lilo! I am an adorable 8 month old flashy brindle girl that is ready to find my forever home! Prior to my acceptance in the rescue, I was found in San Antonio after being hit by a car and had a broken leg and jaw. My jaw has been fixed by the nice vets at Texas A&M but I still have the old leg injury which doesn't slow me down at all! I am a goofy, loving, active puppy with all the puppy tendencies! I get the zoomies when I am let out of my crate and after running with my dog brothers and sisters, I enjoy a nice nap on the bed or with the humans on the couch. I am crate trained and am working on house training and progressing well! I live with a 9 year old human kid and I love playing with her! I also live with 3 boxers, a Chiweenie, and 3 cats! They are all of different age ranges and I am great with all of them! I don't typically bother the cats but occasionally I get the courage to chase one of them and play! All she wants is to be with her humans at all times. This sweet girl was found in a Lowe’s parking lot in south Texas. Unfortunately she was not microchipped and after many weeks and attempts to find an owner, no one came forward for her. Now she’s more than ready to be adopted into a home that will love her and keep her safe forever! This girl is very playful and loves fetch but can make her own fun out of anything! She would love an active home that can give her exercise or to learn a job to help her humans. She is good with dogs and currently lives with multiple other dogs in the finder’s home. She gets excited around cats and kids, so she will need some guidance/ training but very doable with her smart personality. Birdy is estimated about 1 year old and only 40 lbs.
