Story
Lily is a sweet, playful puppy who wandered into our lives and instantly stole our hearts. She is spayed and all of her shots and vaccines are up-to-date. She’s silly, energetic, and absolutely adores going on walks. When she’s not exploring the world with her tail wagging, she’s the ultimate cuddle buddy—snuggling is one of her favorite things! Lily is looking for a forever home where she’ll get plenty of love, belly rubs, and adventure. She’s got a lot of love to give and is ready to become someone’s loyal companion. If you’re looking for a goofy, affectionate pup to brighten your days, Lily just might be the one!

Story
Bonnie is a 3-4 year old boxer mix. She is extremely lovable and happy, and the best cuddler. She was adopted from a shelter, and she does not have any problems with my other dog. However, she does require a home with more time to take care of her. She needs to be let out regularly and go on plenty of walks. She would really benefit from a yard. She is potty trained, but when left inside too long she will have accidents. Bonnie is healthy and so sweet, a perfect dog for a family or even one owner if they can be around during the day! She will want to sleep right next to you and she is a sucker for treats! She needs a home quickly. We don't want to keep Bonnie from the life she deserves, and even though we will always love and miss her, it is for the best that a more suitable caregiver takes her. Please reach out to me for more information about Bonnie. I can go on and on about how beautiful and sweet she is. Thank you.

Story
It is a very well-known fact that we have a major weakness for honorary bulldogs, and we ESPECIALLY love a verifiable 'real-dog' with leggy legs and a snout that works for breathing. So, ZERO surprise that we had to say yes to saving this very, very good boy when we saw him land in the shelter.Amigo is going to be some lucky, lucky human's very best friend, and we are already so, so jealous of the family who gets to claim him as their own. Amigo is ALL goofy Boxer. Hes so sweet, and so, so loving. Hes also a sensitive boy that requires humans who can let him set the pace with first intros. A few treats go a long way in making him feel safe and happy when meeting a new friend.Amigo is potty trained, loves a good walk (he is learning not to pull a lot still), has done well with the dogs hes had the opportunity to meet, snoozes happily on his bed or on the couch, and he is totally non-destructive when left alone at home. (Yes, he can handle a regular workday.) Because Amigo can be a little nervous with new intros and keeping those introductions structured is so important to helping him continue to feel happy and well adjusted. So we believe he is best in an adults only home Where are the way he meets new people can remain managed and consistent. We're super excited to see who gets to be this gorgeous guy's family and to see his apps flow in! Story
There’s something incredibly special about a shy dog. It’s like being trusted with a secret—once they decide you’re "their person," that bond is unbreakable. Meet BYRON, an 8-month-old Terrier mix with a stunning brindle coat and big, bold splashes of white. 🎨 At 65 lbs, he’s a hefty boy with an even bigger heart 💙 that is blooming like a spring flower. 🌷 After extra TLC from staff and volunteers, Byron has gone from "timid" to "totally charming." He's a great walker and loves to stay close to his human. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick, Byron says "Pick Me". ⬇️ He's dog friendly and has been taking "confidence lessons" from his bestie, Hippo. Underneath that shy exterior is a soulful, gentle personality just waiting for a family to love. 🏠 Watching a dog like Byron find his courage is one of the greatest thrills! Want to be part of his journey? BYRON is waiting to meet you at Bastrop County Animal Shelter! 🏠💖🌸🌻
