Story
Miko is truly an experience that fills your heart with love and compassion. From the moment he was rescued approximately at six months old, it was evident that he had endured a difficult start in life. He was discovered in a state of poor health, burdened by fleas and even had a wire wrapped around his neck. This unfortunate past has left Miko with a timid nature, as if the world had not always been kind to him. However, once you earn his trust, you are welcomed into a world of the biggest and sweetest personality imaginable. His ability to play with other dogs is a testament to his resilient spirit. Regularly attending daycare allowed him to socialize and form meaningful connections with his furry companions. However it is crucial to acknowledge that Miko's past experiences have left him easily scared by loud noises and sudden movements. As a result, he may not be best fit for households with young children who may inadvertently cause him distress.  Miko's gentle nature shines through, as he has never displayed any signs of aggression towards anyone. If we were to summarize Miko's essence in just three words, they would undoubtedly be loyal, gentle, and playful. He has proven himself to be a loyal companion, always by your side through thick and thin. His gentleness radiates from him, making him an absolute joy to be around. And his playful nature brings endless laughter and happiness to those fortunate enough to share their lives with him. In terms of his overall well-being, Miko is a picture of health. He is both crate and potty trained, a testament to his intelligence and adaptability. Additionally, he has been neutered and is up to date on all of his necessary shots.  The only minor obstacle he faces is mild allergies and dry skin, which are effectively managed through the use of soothing coconut oil. In conclusion, Miko is a remarkable companion who deserves all the love and care in the world. His journey from a troubled past to a bright future is a testament to his resilience and capacity for forgiveness. Opening your heart to Miko means inviting an unwavering loyalty, a gentle soul, and an endless source of joy into your life. He is a true gem, ready to embark on a new chapter of love and happiness with a forever family. We offer transport from Houston to the Pacific Northwest every two weeks.  And guess what? Bruno is very playful, loves to play fetch. Eats Purina dog chow. Free feeds throughout the day. Has been losing weight and has a few skin tags in his back. Bruno is kenneled trained inside and outside. He loves playing outside but he will try to dig under the fence if there is another dog on the other side of the fence and if he’s not supervised. Bruno knows commands such as sit, shake, lay down. Do to personal reasons we are unable to keep him.

Story
Walker is a beautiful sweet boy and is looking for his forever home! Walker was a rescue on the reservation, and was the runt of his litter. When he came to his foster home he had never been touched before. He is now learning that people are good, and he loves pets and scratches. He is still very timid, but is thriving! Walker is about 5 months old and will probably grow to be around 40-50 lbs. He loves soft beds and bones and toys to play with. He loves to run and wrestle with his friends. Walker will do best in a home that can be patient and gentle while teaching him how to be a pet. He has only been on a leash a few times, and only taken a few car rides. He will also need to learn basic commands. Walker is house and crate trained. Walker will need another confident dog in his new home that will play with him. Are you the right home for this sweet soul? Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $300. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at http://caws.org/adoption-application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.CALLING ALL BOXER LOVERS! I’m Creed, a spunky, snuggly boxer mix with the best underbite around. Doesn’t it give me character? I’m a thin, one year old male, about 40 pounds. With some good nutrition, I’ll be up to a healthier weight in no time.  I’m highly food motivated so gaining weight should be a piece of cake.(ha!) Plus, it makes me easy to train. I have already learned sit and shake. Just promise me some treatos and I’ll try to do whatever makes you happy! I am friendly with people and dogs, but occasionally I bark at other dogs who are near my crate.  I haven’t been around cats. I’m looking for a family who will play with me, take me for walks and give me lots and lots of snuggles. (and treatos!) I’m happy to hang around the house but I’d also love to go on adventures. Like most young dogs, I would benefit from training.  I am microchipped, crate trained, sterilized and fully vaccinated. I haven’t had any accidents in the house and I do not mark.  I can’t wait to find my family! If you think we could be a match, apply here now!  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 23, 2024, 5:12 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hey there!!! We are Patrick Star (male)  and Pearl Star (female). We are 5 month old Boxer mix puppies who are excited to meet our forever family. Could that be you?  According to the puppy calculator Patrick will be around 65lb and Pearl around 50lbs, but who really knows? We are as cute as can be and will snuggle our way into your heart!!  We are working on our crate training, housetraining and learning to walk on leash. We are a little shy but warm up very quickly, especially if you have treats!!! We love to play with toys and chew on our bones. But we are learning to share those things. We are great with other dogs and kids but remember that we are puppies so we may nibble a little still. We haven't met a cat so we don't know what we will think of those strange creatures.  If you would like to meet either of us, apply today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 23, 2024, 5:12 pm

This pretty girl is a 60lb, 1 year old boxer mix...we're thinking hound? or maybe shar pei? look at those forehead wrinkles! Whatever she is, Zima is as smart as they come and full of energy.  Still a big puppy, she is looking for an active family who can keep up with her energy.  She is great with other dogs, silly and very playful - she loves all the toys!  She would be ideal for someone who could devote a little time to training to keep that brain of hers working for good instead of mischief.  She sleeps quietly through the night in her crate and is potty trained.  If you would like the meet this lovely young lady, apply today at  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplicationVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 23, 2024, 5:12 pm

Story
Introducing Jackson, or as we like to call him, Jack Teller - a true survivor who has overcome countless obstacles in his journey. Imagine finding him at an intersection, abandoned and scared, anxiously waiting for his owners to return. It breaks your heart, doesn't it? But don't worry, this story has a happy ending. Despite his rough start, Jack Teller has blossomed into a remarkable companion. Like any dog, he was initially wary of new faces, but it didn't take long for him to realize that there are kind-hearted souls out there who only want to shower him with love and affection. And boy, did he surprise us all! Jack Teller turned out to be the friendliest pup around, melting hearts left and right with his warm greetings and wagging tail. He's not just good with people, but dogs too - a true social butterfly! Like many of our Tx dogs he is being treated for heartworms. NOTHING to worry about as this is very common here.  We will provide the medication to continue his treatment.   If you're looking for a hiking buddy or simply a furry friend to join you on leisurely strolls, Jack Teller is your guy. He absolutely loves going on walks and exploring the great outdoors. Plus, he's a pro when it comes to crate training. Talk about an all-around good boy! But here's the best part - this gentle soul is a hidden treasure, waiting to be discovered by the perfect forever family. We believe that every dog deserves a loving home, and Jack Teller is no exception. That's why we make regular trips to the Pacific Northwest, including a special stop in Bellingham, WA, just for our Canadian friends. If you're interested in adopting Jack Teller or want to find out more about him, head over to www.springbranchrescue.org. Don't miss out on the chance to welcome this incredible pup into your life.
