Story
Hi everyone, I'm Belle! I am a gorgeous 3-year-old female boxer mix and I'm a very sweet girl who loves to cuddle and play with toys. I'm house and crate trained. I know several commands such as 'sit' and 'down.' I love to fetch and go for walks; however, I'm still nervous of skateboards, scooters, etc. I need controlled introductions to new people and situations. A rambunctious household, kids and cats are a no for me. I will require a super secured yard as I've been known to jump and bolt. I've worked with a professional trainer and she recommends positive reinforcement training as well as muzzle training as I've had some history with biting. I would love to find my forever home with people who understand my history and are willing to follow through with more training to help me be more comfortable around people and be my best self. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Belle's adoption fee is $200. If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at http://caws.org/adoption-application If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationOctober 22, 2024, 6:42 am

Story
Bruno is very playful, loves to play fetch. Eats Purina dog chow. Free feeds throughout the day. Has been losing weight and has a few skin tags in his back. Bruno is kenneled trained inside and outside. He loves playing outside but he will try to dig under the fence if there is another dog on the other side of the fence and if he’s not supervised. Bruno knows commands such as sit, shake, lay down. Do to personal reasons we are unable to keep him.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Yo!! Let me introduce myself. My name is Bronx D'Puppy and I'm thought to be a boxer/lab mix. In rescue tho, that's not 100% guaranteed. I am 10 months old and am a growing boy. I love to play, play and play some more. I love all my foster brothers and sisters and we have a great time playing all day. I love my toys and I especially love my tennis ball. I am working on potty training and will need continued assistance for my success. I know how to use a doggy door and so far I get along with the cats I've met.  I will likely be a big boy when I'm full grown. Not a sure bet but likely around 50 - 60 lbs.  I will need someone with patience and understanding  committed to training to help me become the best dog I can be. In return, you will have my loyalty, the best snuggles and all my love! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.I’m Creed, a handsome boxer mix who wants to be front and center in your life! I want as much attention as you’ll give me because I think hanging with my people is so fun!  I'm about a year and a half old and I weigh about 60  pounds.  I like all sizes of people and dogs, I just need a very good introduction to everyone I meet. I love kids of all ages, but I am looking for a home without young children. Occasionally I get super silly, so kids over 12 are best, if any. I haven’t met any cats, but my foster mom thinks that I might be OK with them. Can I sleep on your bed? How about the couch? Can I get in your face waiting for attention and scratches? Mind if I get the zoomies a few times a day and act super silly? Don’t worry, I’m also fine left alone…I’ll find a cozy place to snooze until you’re ready to hang with me again! If I’m feeling excluded for too long, you might hear me sing the song of my people.  I am potty trained and crate trained, and I am quick to learn new things! It took no effort to train me a specific potty spot. I am also pretty good on a leash.  I am fine left out of my crate, since I don’t chew on things I’m not supposed to. I’m just a goofball of a dog! Did you know that sometimes dogs have the same kind of depression and anxiety that people do? That's what happened to me. I didn't have any problems, and then one day I just started feeling a bit...off. I got kind of weird about new people, the couch, being woken up suddenly. Kind of random, weird stuff. My foster mama tried really hard to fix me up, and after a few months of trying all the behavioral and holistic things, we decided to give medication a try. Now I'm taking Prozac and it's helping me a lot. I am ready to find my forever family! If you’re needing a pup in your life that will provide you some comic relief, I’m your boy! Apply to meet me right here! https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication   IMPORTANT: I am looking for a specific type of home. My ideal home would be a quieter place without a ton of kid activity. I can be sensitive to loud noises, sudden movements and new people. I can be loud, myself, at times, so an apartment/townhome is not for me. I need a family/person who can be firm with both me and other people/dogs who want to meet me. I have attended some training, and continued training will be a requirement for my adopter within 90 days.     Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 19, 2024, 11:11 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Hollyhocks: Your Future Adventure Buddy!  Name: Hollyhocks  Breed: Boxer Mix  Age: 3 1/2 years old DOB 5/21/2021  Weight: 70 lbs Hello, future family! My name is Hollyhocks, and I’m a spirited and loving Boxer mix looking for my forever home. If you love the outdoors, hiking, and camping, I’m the perfect companion for you! I thrive in an active environment where I can run and play to my heart’s content. I have excellent house manners and have undergone training, so I know all my basic commands. My foster mom says I’m such a good girl that I don’t even need a crate! I use a dog door and never have accidents in the house. I adore being close to my people and love giving hugs. Despite my size, I think I’m a lap dog and enjoy snuggling up with you. My big tongue is perfect for giving you lots of face washes! I do get a bit anxious and can bark loudly, but with a calm and patient home, I know I can feel secure and happy. I need slow introductions to new people, but once I get to know them, I’m a sweetheart. I haven’t been around cats much, but I do like to chase the neighborhood ones. I used to live with children and did well with them, but I would do best in a home with older kids and less commotion. I need a fenced yard and plenty of space to run. If you’re home often and can make me feel comfortable, I promise to be the best girl for you. I’m learning that I don’t have to be on alert all the time and can just enjoy being a dog. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and active companion, I’m your girl! Let’s make some amazing memories together.    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 19, 2024, 11:11 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi! I'm Caspur, an 8 year old boxer. I grew up in a loving home where I learned all about how to be a super good boy, but due to some changes in my family's circumstances I was left with no companionship for weeks at a time and they had to make the very difficult decision to give me up, so now I'm hoping to find another family to call my own. I know 8 might sound old, but everyone who meets me is surprised to hear my age because I'm still a playful goofy boy who loves going on walks, playing keep-away, and playing with other pups. I do enjoy some good naps and cuddle time too. My foster mom keeps telling me what an easy dog I am since I'm super sweet and gentle, house trained, have good leash skills (as long as I don't spot a squirrel), only chew on appropriate things, and get along great with kids of all ages as well as dogs and cats. In fact the only thing she says might be a drawback for some people is that I like to bark when I'm excited and trying to get someone to play with me.  If you have a place in your heart and home for a very good boy to live out his golden years, apply to meet me at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 19, 2024, 11:11 pm
