Story
Honey is an adorable pup, currently in foster care, looking for her forever home. Here is a message from her Foster Mom. ❤"Hi! I’m Honey. I LOVE people and being around my favorite persons! I have a lot of energy, so I’m always happy to go on walks, hikes, runs, go cart racing, you name it! I’m great at entertaining myself in the yard, though I do enjoy digging some holes and looking for buried treasure. ☺️ My manners are on point since I’ve gotten professional e-collar training, and I’m a very good listener. I’m crate trained too, and I have no problem chillin and sleeping through the night in my crate like a champ! I’ve had a rough start in life, and I’m ready to find someone who loves me and appreciates me for all the love and companionship I have to give!” ❤🐾 ❤Honey's adoption also includes one lesson with K9 Pack NC, sponsored by Honey's foster mom! Want to meet Honey? Honey is in foster care, so fill out an adoption survey and we will set up a meet and greet for you! Story
Leo is an affectionate, loyal boy who loves being close to his people—whether he’s out on a walk or curled up on the couch. He enjoys car rides, chasing a ball, and soaking up the sun, but is just as happy relaxing at home. Leo is fully potty trained, knows basic commands, and is very treat motivated, making training both fun and rewarding. He’s currently working on his leash manners and improving every day.Leo would do best in a home that can give him time, patience, and love. A home without smaller animals would be best for him. He has done well with other dogs when introduced slowly and respectfully, and has been around small children, doing well when they respect his boundaries and space. While he would love a fenced yard, he has done well in an apartment and enjoys getting outside for his regular walks. One of Leo’s most unique features is his beautiful blue eye, a result of a past injury that has fully healed and doesn’t affect him—it just adds to his charm. Leo is a special dog ready to find a loving home to call his own.

Story
Batman is a high-energy, affectionate young dog who is ready for his next home. He is approximately a year and a half old and has shown himself to be intelligent, eager to learn, and highly motivated by treats. He already knows basic commands such as sit, come, and crate, and he is both house-trained and crate-trained.Batman would do best in an active home where he has plenty of opportunities for exercise and stimulation. A fenced-in yard would be ideal, though he can also be exercised through multiple walks throughout the day. He is still working on leash manners and tends to pull when excited, but he responds well to continued training. He can be around small children, though supervision is recommended as he does not always realize his size and strength. Due to his energy level and play style, he may be better suited for older children or dog-savvy younger kids.Batman has done well with other dogs his size when introductions are slow and structured. He would prefer a home without smaller dogs or cats.He has made great progress with consistency and routine and is looking for a home that can continue providing structure, exercise, and training.

Story
Meet Queen, a charming and sassy sidekick who`s equal parts snuggle bug, road trip companion, and toy-loving goofball. She’s all about her people and would happily follow you from room to room, or better yet, hop in the car for your next adventure. Queen is a professional passenger—calm, happy, and convinced that every ride needs her royal presence. She`s also potty trained, crate aware (though she’ll politely bark when she’s ready to come out), and great on leash with just a little pulling when she`s excited. Queen recently took on a 7-mile hike at Eno River State Park and absolutely crushed it. Suspension bridges? No problem. Crowds of school kids? Handled like a pro. She navigated everything with confidence and grace—earning some laughs and a few “Scooby-Doo” comments along the way. At home, Queen is a toy and treat-motivated gal who loves to chew on bones and play with her stash of goodies throughout the day. She gets along well with the calm senior dog in her foster home and minds her business like the classy lady she is. She`s also great with kids, though she prefers to enjoy her meals and bones without interruptionWhile Queen has some minor mobility quirks—likely due to a hip or leg issue—she doesn’t let it slow her down much. She handles steps with care and is happiest on flat ground where she can stay close to you. In the backyard, she’ll stick right by your side and comes when called. Queen is a sweet, spunky, and loyal dog who’s looking for a home where she can be part of the action, soak up affection, and chew to her heart’s content. If you’re searching for a loving, adventurous companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Queen just might be your match!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi … my name is Mango Grace! Read my bio to find out everything you need to know about me.   If you think I might be the perfect pup for you, go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org/forms and complete the adoption application online. If you can't adopt and meet her special needs, you can still help her by sponsoring her extended care with tax-deductible donations designated for Mango Grace's care.   “Dogs do speak, but only to those who know how to listen.”– Orhan Pamuk (author, My Name Is Red)  Does Mango Grace speak to you?   She is a special gem in need of a special hero.Mango was a stray who ‘picked’ a family that she found. All the people in the family loved her, but Mango’s high energy and exuberance proved to be too much for their older dogs.  Her play style with other dogs is a little rough-tumble and in-your-face, and not all other dogs are OK with that.  She does not always meet new people well, but once she trusts you, she is a velcro dog with her people. She loves her current foster mom, but for the first 3 days, she growled at her too. She still needs more socialization before she can be a 'go everywhere' dog. Mango will enjoy a new family with people who have time to spend with her, who are willing to take her to training, who are willing to make sure she gets plenty of exercise … who are willing to love her and work with her to become the best dog she can be. Could that be you?Approximate age/birthdate:  born ~ April 2015 Weight/size: 45-50 lbs Housebroken:  YES (if you do your part letting her out regularly) Crate trained:  YES Personality:  busy, wary of new people at first, playful Energy level:  very energetic, rough and tumble play style  Fenced yard required?:   YES ... a physical fence (no underground/electric fences)  No Exceptions.  Mango would be a danger to neighborhood cats and possibly small dogs. She has a high prey drive. Does he/she jump fences?  NO (but she could if she wanted to) Leash walk:  YES … high energy so will still pull Obedience training:  Knows ‘sit’ Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK … gets a little stressed at first          Spayed/neutered:   YES Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES Microchipped:  NO but a chip will be provided Social with other dogs:  YES but she is selective about her friends and not all other dogs are tolerant of her energy.  Slow, proper introductions to any new dogs is a MUST with her.  She does not do well with smaller dogs if they are pushy and yappy.Social with cats: NO CATS … she plays far too rough and has a high prey drive Good with children:  Her energy may be overwhelming for small children.  Will be better with children 12 years old and up Adoption donation: $175 We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible. When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Mango Grace picks you too. If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi … my name is Lacey! Please take a minute to read my entire bio to find out everything you need to know about me.   If you think I might be the perfect pup for you, go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org/forms and complete the adoption application online. Sweet Lacey … the beautiful little lady who had some rough times in her young life, all the while showing nothing but sweetness and love to people helping her get healthy again.  In January 2022 Lacey was a young mom with 3 young puppies, and she weighed barely 25 pounds. Fast forward to March 2022 and after lots of TLC and lots of extra meals, she had blossomed into a 43 pound beauty, still giving kisses to everyone she sees! It has been such a joy watching this sweet girl get stronger by the day.  She is such a gem, and she is going to be an amazing addition to some very lucky family.  If you love boxers and their silliness, she just might be the girl for you.  She is a happy goofball who really does spread sunshine wherever she goes! Things Lacey would love to have in her new forever home:     People who would love her unconditionally and who would let her be a lap dog.     A physically fenced yard where she could run and explore.  She is quite an athlete and needs plenty of exercise to keep her happy and healthy.     A person who would take her to basic obedience class so she could show how smart she is and so she could have a great socialization experience.  Going to class together is a great bonding time for a pup and her person. Approximate age/birthdate:  ~Feb 18, 2021 Weight/size:  43 lbs Housebroken:  YES as long as you do your part and take her out often and on a regular schedule. Crate trained:  YES Personality: sweet, loving, silly, playful, happy                 Energy level:  medium with spurts of high … she is pretty calm inside but she can run like the wind and jump like she has springs on her feet Fenced yard required?:   Definitely preferred.  She will love leash walks with her person, but she will also enjoy the freedom to run around off-leash inside a fenced yard. Does he/she jump fences?  She has not … but she probably could.  It would not be wise to leave her outside in a fenced yard alone because if she got bored, she might start looking for a way to get out and find new friends. Leash walk with manners:  YES she actually walks nicely unless she sees something she wants to chase or get to Obedience training:  Knows ‘sit’.  She would be a star in an obedience class.  She learns quickly. Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK      Spayed/neutered:   YES Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES Microchipped:   YES Social with other dogs:  YES, but she will react if another dog gets in her face or gets ‘snarky’ with her - especially small, yappy dogs.  As she becomes a 'teenager' she is getting a little testy with smaller animals.  She would like being an only dog. Social with cats: Has not been around cats in foster home, but we feel sure she would be happy to chase any cat that ran.  Not sure if she would intend to hurt them, but a home with no cats would be better. Good with children:  Will probably be best with respectful, calm children ages 10 and up.  Her size and energy might be overwhelming for younger/smaller children.  Adoption donation:  $250 We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.
