   Hello to all, my name is Lizzy. I am a female Boxer mix, I am approximately 2 years old, and I am up to date on vaccines. I was also one of the many that came from a very bad situation. I was the one who had been neglected the most. In fact, the ladies here at the shelter were not even sure that I would survive. With lots of TLC and of course, food and water, I am happy to say that I am living and loving life! I am enjoying having a yard to run and play in and toys, oh my goodness, I love playing with the toys. I love getting lovin’s and attention from the ladies and I really like the visitors that come in and visit me too. The ladies here are really surprised that I am so trusting of people after what I have been through but I say, life is too short to live in the past. I am so excited for what life holds for me, a forever home and a loving family. Oh boy, I can’t wait to have that. Delilah May is an adorable, six month old, Boxer puppy mix. She is about 40 lbs and all legs! She has big Boxer energy and loves to play fetch, go on walks, and is a great running partner (She's been clocked at an 8 minute mile!). She is a quick learner and will thrive in a home dedicated to helping her continue her training with positive reinforcement and plenty of exercise. She would love a larger doggie sibling or weekly daycare/play dates to keep her from getting bored. Delilah is very much a puppy and could accidentally knock over young children and smaller dogs with her playfulness. Children over 10 years old preferred. Delilah is house trained and crate trained. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives. Courtesy listing Maggie is from TX and now in VA available for adoption. She is fully vetted and is negative for heartworm (she has been tested twice 11 months apart and should stay negative for life if kept on prevention.) She is a sweet dog but a little shy and scared of life. She needs an adopter willing to give her support and encouragement as she settles into a new home. She is very quiet and crates well. She prefers to potty in the same area on walks so should be easy to have in a yard environment as well. She is good with other dogs and has shown no aggression towards cats but hasn’t lived with any.
