I’m also a champion snorer, so if you hear a little rumble while I’m snoozing nearby, that’s just me dreaming about my next adventure. I’m a sweet, affectionate boy who loves to snuggle, lean into my people for pets, and relax on the couch after a good walk. I enjoy playing with toys—especially squeaky toys, balls, and snuffle mats—and I can be pretty enthusiastic about chasing them around. Walks are one of my favorite things, and I’d love a home where I can get out for daily adventures. I’d do best in a home where someone is around often so I don’t have to spend too much time alone. With love, patience, and a little structure, I’m going to make an incredibly loyal companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, cuddly, playful dog who also loves to relax and be your best buddy, I might just be the one for you. After years of neglect, Angel came to rescue with skin and eye infections, but with lots of care, her infections have cleared, her fur has grown back beautifully, and she’s now ready for her forever home. Angel was born with knee issues that limit her mobility, so she can’t do long walks, but she is not in pain and doesn’t let it dampen her spirit. She enjoys slow strolls, relaxing in the yard, sniffing around, and soaking up the sun. Because of her mobility needs, Angel would do best in a home with a fenced yard where she can safely explore at her own pace. Angel is wonderful with other dogs and people of all ages, including children. She enjoys playing with the other dogs in her foster home and would love a doggy friend in her forever home. Meet Athena. 45lb, 2.5 year old Pittie baby, looking for her forever family. Removed from a neglectful situation, we have been fostering her for several months. Athena is eager to please and knows commands. I have also taught her to sing, when asked. Too cute! Are you a hiker? Well Athena may just be the girl for you. I take her out on the trails and we have done 20+ miles in a single day. Ever aware and always protective of her hiking companion, this girl has the energy and the loyalty to make a great trail dog. Not a hiker? No worries. Athena also loves to chew on antlers, peanut butter kongs, loves squeakers and play fetch. She is also the queen of snuggles. She prefers sleeping and cuddling with her person at night. Can't go wrong with this little girl for a cuddle buddy. We were told she gets along with other dogs. But the four dogs we have now don't get along with her. So, she is kept separate. She would be best with a solo companion or someone with experience with this breed. We do not know how she is with kids. She has all of her shots. We were told that she wasn't fixed, however, we have had her for almost a year and she hasn't gone into heat. This little girl needs a stable and lasting home. We are determined to find her the perfect family, so she never has to go through neglect or abandonment again. We want her to be adored. Meet Leroy! Leroy is a 1-year-old, approximately 60-pound Pit Mix who is basically a giant puppy in a strong, 60-pound body! He is EXTREMELY playful, loves having fun, and has plenty of energy to keep his future family on their toes. Leroy is going to need an experienced dog owner who understands that young dogs need guidance, structure, training, and plenty of patience. He is still learning his manners and boundaries and doesn't always realize that he is a BIG boy! His previous owner says he is good with kids, but his extra playful and pushy puppy personality can sometimes be a little much. Because of his size and energy, we will require the whole family to come meet him. An active family would be ideal for LeroyÂsomeone ready to give him exercise, mental stimulation, training, and all the outlets a young, energetic dog needs. We think this goofy guy has a LOT of potential with the right person willing to put in the work! Leroy hasn't been around many other dogs, so we're still getting to know how he feels about canine friends. A dog test will be required with any dogs currently in the home. We have no idea of him with cats and we think extreme caution and super slow and patient introductions is best to make sure everyone is comfy. The good stuff? Leroy is crate trained, calm and well-behaved in the car, and is perfectly okay with being bathed and brushed. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. Leroy isn't looking for someone who expects a perfectly polished dog right away. He's looking for someone who sees the goofy, playful young dog underneath the rough edges and is ready to teach him how to be the best version of himself.
