That kind of instability is hard on any dog, and it’s left him with some separation anxiety—but it’s also made one thing very clear: Cheese is ready for a true forever home that will commit to him for life.Despite everything, Cheese is still a happy, outgoing, and delightfully dorky guy. His adorable underbite gives him a constant goofy grin, and his playful personality makes him a joy to be around. He bonds deeply with his people and thrives on connection—he just needs someone who can give him consistency, reassurance, and clear direction.Cheese is a smart pup who already knows “sit” and is very treat motivated, which makes training a great way to build his confidence and strengthen your bond. He’s strong and energetic, so he’ll do best with an adopter who can provide structure, regular exercise, and guidance to help him feel secure.Because of his prey drive, Cheese would do best in a home without cats. Toby: The Little Tank That Could... and Did! Forever home after July 10th Toby is a resilient young pup who arrived with a broken back leg. Thanks to the incredible care of our veterinary team, they repaired it with a few screws, and now he's healing beautifully! This amazing little puppy loves being with his people and has a big personality. Toby doesn't seem to realize he's still recovering, so he'll need to stick to short walks and controlled playtime for a couple more months to ensure his leg continues to heal properly. Toby would do best in a home with older children who understand how to be gentle with him during his recovery. He'd also enjoy having an older dog companion who likes to play but isn't overly rough or likely to chase him. Toby has already overcome so much and is ready to find a loving family to cheer him on through the rest of his recovery.
