Story
Meet Spirit Spirit may be a puppy with a disability, but don’t tell her that—she has no idea! This happy, affectionate girl is full of love and joy. Her favorite things include snuggling on a soft bed or curling up right in your lap for a nap after a good play session. Spirit is paralyzed in her back end due to a stable spinal fracture that cannot be surgically repaired. She cannot use her back legs and has no control over stool or urine, but her elimination is reflexive and does not require intervention as long as amounts remain normal. Despite this, Spirit doesn’t let her condition slow her down one bit—she’s just as playful and silly as any other pup. She’s very social and loves meeting new people, especially kids. Spirit gets along well with other dogs and is curious about cats—though her playful energy and eagerness to chase may be a bit much for some feline friends. Like most puppies, Spirit is learning the ropes of the world. She’s working on playing fetch, enjoys sunny days outdoors, and thinks wagon rides are the best way to go on walks. She’s even dipped her paws into swimming at the lake! True to puppy form, she does like to explore the world with her mouth, so she’ll need continued guidance as she grows. At night, Spirit settles nicely in her crate and sleeps soundly when things are quiet. She’s the perfect mix of playful and cuddly—always ready for fun, but happiest snuggled up next to her people. If you’re looking for a sweet, resilient puppy who will bring sunshine, silliness, and snuggles into your life, Spirit just might be your match! All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. Story
Meet Brooklyn — a resilient little pup with a whole lot of heart 💕 Brooklyn is an adorable pit bull puppy who came to us from MADACC, and she’s already proven just how strong and special she is. This sweet girl arrived with a tibial tuberosity avulsion that, while already healing too much for surgical repair, hasn’t slowed her spirit one bit. Brooklyn is learning to navigate the world as she heals, and she continues to grow stronger every day. She may need a home that’s mindful of her leg and committed to following any recommended care, but in return, you’ll get a playful, loving puppy who is full of life and ready to make memories. Like any puppy, Brooklyn is curious, affectionate, and eager to learn. She loves attention, enjoys playtime, and is soaking up everything around her. With the right balance of activity and care, she’s sure to thrive and become an incredible companion. Brooklyn’s journey hasn’t been the easiest, but she hasn’t let that dim her light. She’s looking for a family who will support her, cheer her on, and give her all the love she deserves as she continues to heal and grow. If you’re ready to welcome a strong, sweet, and spirited pup into your life, Brooklyn is waiting to meet you **Disclaimer- Brooklyn is avalible for foster-to-adopt within 30 minutes of our shelter while we finish completing her medical. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. Story
Nora isn’t just any puppy—she’s a fighter with a heart full of love and a spirit that won’t quit. This brave girl came to us from MADACC with two broken legs on the same side. Despite her traumatic start, Nora never let her tail stop wagging. After surgery, acupuncture, and months of rehab, she’s made an incredible recovery and is now ready for her next big adventure: finding a forever home. Nora is pure joy in puppy form. She’s smart, sweet, and full of energy—whether she’s playing tug-o-war, going for walks, or learning new tricks, she throws herself into life with enthusiasm. Once the fun is done, she’s happiest snuggled up next to her people, soaking up love and giving it right back. She gets along beautifully with people and other dogs, and her affectionate nature charms everyone she meets. Nora will thrive in an active home where she gets plenty of mental and physical engagement, along with the structure and guidance every growing pup needs. More than anything, Nora wants to be someone’s everything. She’s already shown us what strength, courage, and resilience look like—now she’s ready to show you just how deeply a dog can love. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough.
