Hi this is Dobby she needs a permanent loving home she's 11 years old she's a boxer and Feist mix she should not live with other dogs submissive cats she's okay to live with no babies and little kids but she's a sweetheart she's very loyal she's very dedicated and protective she's very loving and caring she enjoys hiking and nature walks get pooped out but she needs a little encouragement to go out and then when she does she has a great time but she does not like company vehicles and uniforms and she would be good on a short leash to start out with she's about 33 lbs. No rescue organizations please. Pm me if interested. Thank you!

Jojo is being fostered in Illinois. She has some vision. Hi. My name is Jojo. I am a 4-year-old boxer mix. I like to think of myself as a playful happy-go-lucky gal. I may not see you well because close objects are like shadows and a little blurry to me, but I know you are there. I get along well with all the cats and dogs in my foster home. I like cats. But I may need slow introductions with little feisty dogs. But I would love to go to a home that has many friendly 4-legged buddies. I like to be active and meet people and other dogs. However, I am not too good with children because a lot of time kids either approach me too fast or gather around me, which makes me so scared that I have to give a warning snap. But I do love my walks. Even more, I love an open field that I can have all to myself so I can let out a lot of my energy. At home, I like to relax and sit at my spot while my foster daddy is doing his work. Everyday, I get to be petted and it makes me feel loved. I am housebroken. However, every once in a while, I have accidents because anxiety gets the best of me when I realize my foster dad has not been home for a while. I will do well in a home where someone is present 90-95 percent of time, perhaps with someone who works out of home or is an active retired person. Blind Dog Rescue has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Meet Roscoe! He boxer/ labador mix and will be 7 on September 4th. He’s very lovable. Has been raised around children from newborn to teens and other dogs. He has had some small interactions with cats never a problem. Roscoe loves to play. He has not been diagnosed with separation anxiety however he tends to show signs once he’s attached to a person. His rabies are due June 10, 2027. He does get excited and at times he will have the Zumiez when he’s outside, which will cause problems with his back knee and he’ll start to favor that a little bit cause it’s so sore that looked at it no damage, but just his breed, he says it’s common joints and hip chews do help. He sees Blackhawk Vet in Janesville Wisconsin.

Meet Spirit Spirit may be a puppy with a disability, but don’t tell her that—she has no idea! This happy, affectionate girl is full of love and joy. Her favorite things include snuggling on a soft bed or curling up right in your lap for a nap after a good play session. Spirit is paralyzed in her back end due to a stable spinal fracture that cannot be surgically repaired. She cannot use her back legs and has no control over stool or urine, but her elimination is reflexive and does not require intervention as long as amounts remain normal. Despite this, Spirit doesn’t let her condition slow her down one bit—she’s just as playful and silly as any other pup. She’s very social and loves meeting new people, especially kids. Spirit gets along well with other dogs and is curious about cats—though her playful energy and eagerness to chase may be a bit much for some feline friends. Like most puppies, Spirit is learning the ropes of the world. She’s working on playing fetch, enjoys sunny days outdoors, and thinks wagon rides are the best way to go on walks. Lacey came to SFTS after being found living in a trailer without electricity or air conditioning alongside another dog after her owner was incarcerated. Despite everything she has been through, Lacey is looking for someone who will give her the safe, loving home she deserves. She loves being outside and really enjoys having a dog companion, although she can be selective about which dogs she gets along with. Lacey does not do well with cats, so a cat-free home will be best for her. The shelter environment has been very stressful for Lacey, and we think she will truly shine once she is in a home where she can relax and feel secure. She would love a family who can give her patience, consistency, and plenty of time to decompress while she learns what it means to be part of a family.
