She has a healthy prey drive for squirrels and small animals, and she can pull on the leash, so a sturdy harness and some consistent leash walking will help her shine. Bella can be selective with new dogs, but she came in with her lifelong companion, Daisy Leigh. Hi! Meet Peter. I adopted him from a Humane Society in Florida (where I previously lived) because no one else would due to his medical problems at the time (heartworms). He has since been fully treated and is completely healthy and energetic. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to take care of him. I changed jobs and states recently and the new job came with a very heavy schedule. Also, I will be re-enlisting in the Army Reserves soon and the training schedule that imposes on me will make it incredibly difficult to take care of him.Peter is very energetic, playfully, and happy and not aggressive in the slightest. He loves playing with his MANY toys, enjoys sleeping in his crate or in a bed with me, and is very well house trained. I've been forced to leave him home for 12+ hours multiple times and came home to no accidents whatsoever. If you want a happy, playful, fun-loving dog, this guy is the one for you!PS: He LOVES fetch
