Story
Sonbol is a handsome 3 or 4 year old Exotic British Shorthair part Persian (we think) cat that was used to breed. His family grew tired of him and his companion Mokka, and threatened to dump them on the street. Just look at that face with his tiny button nose. He is calm and quite chilled. He loves people and human interaction. He just got over a stress inducted upper respiratory condition and is now ready for prime time. We would like to see Sonbol go to a family that appreciates this wonderful breed. He will give much joy to the family that adopts him. Fostered in Fairfax, VA.

Story
DEUCE IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE HE IS ADOPTED! This is DEUCE. He is a gorgeous striped tabby. He will need a special patient person as he is still extremely shy.  With the right amount of patience, he will make a great kitty in a quiet home.  He is very food motivated.  He is not recommended for dogs or children. He would probably do best with a gentle outgoing companion to help him get out of his shell. He  is neutered, has had all age appropriate vaccines, microchip, and a confirmed NEGATIVE FIV/FeLV test.  His adoption fee of $295 also includes the transport to VA.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring her up north once she is adopted. If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website and complete an online application using this link:  https://newbeginningsanimalrescue.net/adoption-application   Once your application is received and processed you will be contacted by an NBAR Volunteer. THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 1:30 pm

Story
Totie is a spoiled Diva. She loves her humans and tends to be near them most of the time but is not overly demanding for constant attention, she just wants to be near you. She is most definitely not a fan of other cats and was evidently so spoiled by her first human that she likes to share people food. Her perfect human would be someone that wants an only cat to spoil rotten.

Story
Meet Banks! You know that lovable, grumpy uncle that a lot of people have? Well, that’s this guy - Banks. Banks is 16 1/2 lbs of former street cat with some scars (and the jowls) to show for it. He is about 5 - 6 years old and is begrudgingly learning to love being inside and cared for, he just doesn't seem to want to admit it just yet. He will bump your hand and ask for attention, enjoy the pets and then occasionally swat you to let you know that he’s done. He seems to enjoy love and attention, but very much on his terms.Banks was a neighborhood cat that was fed and loved on by the ladies in a couple of town offices. This past winter, when temps got below freezing, they contacted us to see if we could bring him in. He was able to be pet and picked up, but he is is still getting to know  his foster mom ’s and is being persnickety (not so thrilled) about letting her pick him up just yet. However, he loves to be petted and ask for attention by meowing whenever she comes in the door. He gets along great with the other cats in his foster home and doesn’t give anyone any problems. He is great in the litter box. He’s a quirky live and let live kind of guy and is trying so hard to fit in   He  seems truly happy to be with his cat friends and be inside. We think Banks would do best in all mid to lower activity home with adults and/or teenagers. He needs someone who will be patient with him, loves big ‘ol cats and will learn his love language. Banks is neutered, up-to-date on his Rabies and FVRCP vaccines, combo tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. You won't need to pay to reregister every year - we've done it for you. Interested in *investing* some time in this sweet guy?
