Story
Noura is a sweet, curious little girl whom we have affectionately called “Noura the Explorer". She is very affectionate and has the sweetest meows and purrs. She’s getting along well with her foster family’s resident cats and 2 small dogs. She is definitely purely part British Shorthair with her big round eyes and round head. People that know British Shorthairs only want British Shorthairs because of their great personality. We want Noura to go to a loving home with another cat or dog. She is too adventurous to be alone. Story
Moon is a very handsome, brown tabby British Shorthair, young kitty who we are so happy to have in our rescue. He was left on the street to fend for himself. He is definitely part British Shorthair with that big brown head People who know this breed love them!! Moon is very sweet and affectionate. Loves to play with his foster friends. We would like to see Moon in a home with another playful cat or dog. Children would be fine. Fostered in Fairfax

Story
DEUCE IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE HE IS ADOPTED! This is DEUCE. He is a gorgeous striped tabby. He will need a special patient person as he is still extremely shy.  With the right amount of patience, he will make a great kitty in a quiet home.  He is very food motivated.  He is not recommended for dogs or children. He would probably do best with a gentle outgoing companion to help him get out of his shell. He  is neutered, has had all age appropriate vaccines, microchip, and a confirmed NEGATIVE FIV/FeLV test.  His adoption fee of $295 also includes the transport to VA.  We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring her up north once she is adopted. If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website and complete an online application using this link:  https://newbeginningsanimalrescue.net/adoption-application   Once your application is received and processed you will be contacted by an NBAR Volunteer. THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 17, 2024, 7:56 am

Story
Hello there, I'm Ms Bigglesworth, a worldly feline with a tale to tell. I've journeyed from Saudi Arabia, a place of mystery and wonder, to here, seeking a new beginning. I am sweet as honey and friendly as a morning sun. My curiosity knows no bounds, yet I carry a gentle touch. I have a mellow demeanor, but don't be fooled, I'm energetic and playful when the mood strikes. I'm smart, yet a bit shy, so it may take a moment for me to warm up to you. But once I do, we'll be the best of friends. Why should you adopt me? Well, I promise to be your faithful companion, your confidante, and your source of joy. I'll bring a touch of adventure to your life, and a whole lot of love. Very chatty Good with cats older kids If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Story
Veronica is a young female silver beauty presumed to be a purebred British Shorthair. She was flown to the US by a sister rescue group last summer after having been found in the streets of Kuwait where rescue efforts are still in their infancy. She is the most photogenic and sweet little love bug. Her alert green eyes are perfectly lined, her fur is soft and full. Her only "flaw is that the gray stripe down her back is not 100% symmetrical... but who cares when her purrsonality is over the top nice and gentle? Veronica does well with cats. She is untested with dogs and kids. Although she came to 4 Paws with breathing problems that turned out to be severe upper respiratory infection; antibiotics fixed the issue without relapse in three months. She has no known health or behavioral issues at present. She uses the litter box faithfully though sometimes doesn't fully crouch or step in completely; a box-within-a-box setup (which can go with her) makes this idiosyncrasy a non-issue... I promise! She enjoys snuggles and sleeps in bed with her foster mom back-to-back. She is an absolute little gem who will change her person's/family's lives forever! Veronica's estimated birthdate is February 2022. She is spayed, current on vaccines, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, and is microchipped.

Story
Bumba is a world traveler who came all the way from Kuwait to find his forever home. He even has his own passport. He is a big boy with the cutest stubby half tail. Bumba is an active boy who plays hard. When he runs through the house at full speed, his foster mom says that it sounds like a herd of elephants passing by. His ideal cat companion would be a large and active cat who could provide him with a worthy opponent for his wrestling matches. He has perfect litter box and scratching habits. Bumba's estimated birthdate is September 2020. He is neutered, current on vaccines, tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, and has been microchipped.
