She loves to jump onto laps, playfully asking for pets while still maintaining her independent streak. Her lively personality shines as she engages in fun activities, often chasing Tony around the house in spirited games of tag, where they dart and dash, bringing joy and excitement to their home.   Rescued from Kuwait, these two share a special bond, relying on each other for companionship while embracing their playful natures. Black Velvet lives with her sister Skittle, and they are both solid black, but 'Velvet' has an old scar on her head. Rescued near Manassas, she and her sister are learning to trust humans in a safe place, and she is beginning to make progress. You can pet her and she is food motivated so that helps in her trust department. She would be a project cat that you will most certainly be able to make progress when she gets to her forever home.
