British Shorthair kittens & cats in District Heights, Maryland

My roommate and I adopted Bella and her brother, Toulouse (bonded pair), in September of 2024 from the Humane Rescue Alliance in DC. Both cats are just under 2 years old now, and looking for a new home that is safe and loving. They are both very sweet, playful, and easy to care for! We are moving out of our apartment and looking for a new home for them by the end of May. We would greatly appreciate any inquiries.

Hi there, he’s a good cat who is great with kids, coming from a rescue place in April of 2020 at the height of covid. We’ve enjoyed him in our home, but we are moving out of the country and it costs too much to take him with us. Please help us find him a home asap, (this week as we’re moving this weekend) May 8, 2026. He loves being rubbed and likes to cuddle next to your at night. He’s an indoor cat but likes to sit in the window and go outside on the porch. He will not wonder away as he’s very shy too. He’s great with kids as my niece is now 6 and he would play with her endlessly. Yes, he sleeps most of the day, but when he’s up, he likes to be rubbed and cuddled. Yet, he is fine by himself too. He really likes heat and we have little heaters around the house and he will find a nice spot to lay..even if it’s on the floor. He likes little toys like small balls and still plays. Please consider him for your home as we’re a little upset at the costs to take him.
