Story
Renaldo was found as a stray and taken to the county shelter. County placed Renaldo on the New Hope List, due to his kennel behavior. The New Hope List is dogs who are in urgent time sensitive need of a smaller rescue group, with more resources. Most dogs do not enjoy hectic, shelter life and Renaldo was not shy about letting it known, he prefers to be free, out making his own choices. Renaldo was on his best behavior when Home Fur Good came to meet him, and he won himself a spot at HFG, and HFG committed to finding him the perfect forever home. Renaldo is a two-year-old, bull terrier mix and he weighs 48 pounds. Renaldo happily makes instant friends with any human that he meets, especially if it means an outing from his kennel! The adoption fee is $225 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm by appointment

Story
It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to re-home Cliff. Our only reason for having to do this is due to the dynamics between our oldest dog (12 yr Vizsla) and Cliff. Due to the older dog being alpha male and old he does not get along with Cliff and they've gotten into a few fights due to it. However our other dog (5 yr GSP) gets along great & they play constantly! He is great with people and kids too. However its not fair to our oldest that we have had for 12 years and know this is best move for everyone. Cliff would do really great as a solo dog OR with other dog that is not alpha. Here is a summary on Cliff: He was rescued off the streets on Oct 1, 2023 and is estimated to be almost 10 months now. He is kennel and house trained, chipped, neutered and up to date on all shots. He completed beginning training classes at Pet Smart and is currently in intermediate training. He also has this along with advance training pre paid for that can be carried on by new owner.

These pups are in Scottsdale, Arizona too!

Story
While these Pup Stars may not be able to carry much of a tune, they certainly still know how to steal the show! Good Samaritans took in mama Adele after they found her pregnant and wandering an industrial park. While awaiting her intake appointment at the county shelter, mama gave birth to 11 beautiful babies in the finder's home. After no owner was found, they were then transferred to the shelter where they had difficulty finding foster placement due to the pet overpopulation crisis we are facing here in Phoenix. One day, LTA's founder was at the shelter with her daughter while saving another dog who was scheduled for euthanasia. The shelter staff asked to show them this adorable family who was desperately in need of rescue. Our founder's daughter laid eyes on mama and those [then] three-week-old pups, and that was that. Two days later, all 12 precious lives were safe with us here at LTA. Like any pop star, these pups put on quite a show with their adorable antics. We could watch them playfully pounce and roll around on their little round bellies all day long. And bias aside, these Pup Stars have the perfect personalities -- all thanks to their mama Adele who is sweet as pie, dog-friendly and a total dream girl. The entire family plays nicely (with added puppy flair, of course) with people, children, and other dogs. These 12 precious lives would fit into any amazing home looking to help them become the best lifelong companions we know they can be. Each Pup Star's adoption fee includes their completed veterinary exams and pending microchips, spay/neuters and complete vaccine schedules. All dogs (mama included) are currently available on foster-to-adopts only until all medical has been completed (and covered) by us. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required once the application process is complete and you have been selected. The adoption can become official after each dog is altered. We do require that fosters crate and potty train, as well as work on basic commands. We know if they learn young, you will have a lifetime with a well-behaved dog! The Pupstars would love active homes with backyards (unless you are active and in a condo or apartment). Apply to meet this darling family. We just know you’ll love these little legends! https://lovethemallrescue.org/pupstars
