Story
*This is a courtesy listing.* Meet Rockie! 9-year-old Rockie has lived most of his life in a California sanctuary - mostly kept in a run by himself, isolated with little interaction with humans or other dogs. ROCKIE IS SWEET, SO SWEET. He just needs help with his manners, which is understandable. If you had been locked up most of your life, your social interactions might need a little polishing and others might require patience with you! Overall, Rockie is an amazing dog that is sweet, happy, and isn't overly energetic. He loves playing fetch in the backyard, walks in quiet/mellow areas but he relaxes and naps a lot too. He is more than happy to lounge on the couch and watch TV with his humans. Rockie wants to be loved so badly, and give love so badly. Anybody out there would be incredibly lucky to have Rockie as their dog. He deserves a loving home for the rest of his life! Here is more information about Rockie, starting with the basics: Weight: 60lbs Breed: Bull Terrier Neutered: Yes Vaccinated: Yes Microchipped: Yes Location: Las Vegas, Nevada Home: Needs a fenced yard. Leash Manners: If you walk him around an area where no other dogs are, he does great. If dogs are around, forget it. Hold on tight to that harness! Try the harness front clip which helps with pulling. Otherwise, Rockie is going to take you for a walk. Other pets: At this time, he should be the only pet in the home. Kids: Possibly. Recommendation of older children because he is deaf - he should always see your movements and should not be startled. X-Pen Trained: Getting there! He does OK in the 2 foot tall x-pen if someone is in the same room with him. He likes being with his people. Otherwise, would not recommend leaving him in one without someone there - he doesn't like it and will shove the x-pen around. Potty Trained: Yes! On overnights/weekends with volunteers and going to stores ALL throughout Downtown Summerlin, he has not had one accident. Feeding: Do NOT try to take food away from him, or a wrapper that he found on the ground, etc. Try to distract him with something else before you do. People Meets: Meets with potential fosters/adopters are tough. He likely has met HUNDREDS of people at Downtown Summerlin, Mandalay Bay during Superbowl Weekend. He seeks people out. All hellos have been short and sweet - giving treats to him & short pets. They've gone GREAT. Once someone he doesn't know tries to do more than that, that's where he loses his manners. He reacts, would NOT call it aggressive, he seems to get annoyed, and he just doesn't like it. Volunteers that are able to engage and pet him longer spent TIME building a relationship with him. Focused mostly on just walking him, giving him treats & working on his commands on initial visits with him - nothing more than that. He doesn't like it when you get in his face the first time you meet him - neither do I, so why do this to a pet you are meeting for the first time?! On meets we have told people that, and people almost immediately get down in his face, go for longer pets. Work on simply coexisting with him the first 1-2 weeks, the rest we are confident will follow. Rockie AKA ROCKSTAR is a goofball! There's not much he takes too seriously. Besides treats. He will do just about anything for a treat. With a face and personality like Rockie's we think he will find his furever home, he just needs help with his manners. Rockie is super treat motivated and with some positive training and consistency, he'll be well on his way to having manners with you. Story
Maddie was found as a stray and no owner came for this girl. She is sweet, playful and loves to have fun! We believe Maddie is around 1 year old and a Pit Bull Terrier and Bull Terrier mix with a stocky frame and dark brindle coloring. She is housetrained, good with other dogs, and sleeps in her crate throughout the night. She is a little timid at first but warms up quickly and then just wants to be your best friend. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Maddie, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Good with dogs,
Story
She’s a golden girl! Oh, hay! I mean– hey! My name is Palomino. Just like the beautiful golden horses, I have a heart of gold and the energy to match! I’m a 2-year-old, 49-pound spayed shepherd mix. I previously had surgery on my left hip for hip dysplasia and now I’m galloping with the best of them! I was originally rescued from Los Adoptables south of the border. Now that I’ve trotted on up to the States, I can’t wait to find a stable... I mean, a loving home of my own! I’m a total sweetheart who gets along with other doggos, kiddos, and grown-ups alike. Sometimes I prefer a slow intro to males, but once I warm up, we’re buds. I haven’t met any cats, so I’m not sure what I think about them. I can be very playful and love car rides, my toys, walks, and going on adventures. I can also be a laid-back lady who likes relaxing for some cuddles. I’m a happy, loyal girl who loves being wherever my people are. I’m a well-behaved gal, especially when treats are on the line! I’m bathroom and leash-trained, but I’m not a big fan of the crate. I get a little separation anxiety, nothing too dramatic, and prefer being part of the pack. I’m a great listener and could even see myself as a therapy dog. I have a heart bigger than a horse! My easy-going, lovable pawsonality makes me a great pup for anyone from an active couple to a growing family. I could be with or without other pups– as long as I have my people nearby, some cuddles, and playtime, I’ll be riding high! If I sound like the perfect NEIGHbor (more like roommate) let’s giddy up and meet up! My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/   ##1762387##

Story
Hi, this is Sebastian he is a full breed boxer and he is 2 years old. He’s very social and loves attention and hugs. He has grown up around his 2 other brothers from same litter but unfortunately due to moving I cannot keep him. He’s very friendly and loves to run and play catch. He loves making friends at the dog park. He has a great personality and we are so sad to have to see him go. He need’s special attention to his diet because he’s allergic to chicken and eats a salmon & rice blend dog food. Also he has sensitive skin due to these food allergies. He’s the smallest out of all his brothers I’d say he weighs low 60’s lbs! He is microchipped and he is fixed. With up to date shots!

Story
owned Jax since he was a small puppy, and bought him from family friends who had bought his sister. He is a fun and playful dog who loves to run and play, but also loves to cuddle and relax :) He is a good guard dog and is working on his barking. He has a bark collar that you can have that helps curb that. We have three children and he is great with kids and is very protective of his family. The reason we’re rehoming is because having 2 medium/large dogs need a larger yard where they can run, dig, and play; and our busy schedules with work, school, sports, etc has increased this year to the point where they need more focus and attention which we can’t provide them anymore. We want them to go to a loving family with a large yard for them to run.

She has been treated by our medical team and is now ready for their new home! Why this pet is the one for you:Galung is a sweet senior who lived in one home for most of her life.
