Story
Sweet Tabitha is a mini(?) bull terrier at just 35-40 lbs. She had arrived at the shelter after being hit by a trolley - you read that right! San Diego Humane took care of her injuries but she was struggling with kennel stress in the shelter environment. She is now in a wonderful foster home and thriving! She is a petite little cutie with loads of spunk and loads of snuggles. Tabitha is a pretty fabulous gal, who needs a family with bully experience. She would do well as an only dog or with a neutral/calm male friend (she currently lives with a large male pitbull and they get along great!). She is simply selective about her friends - but who isn’t?! Tabitha is about 2-3 years old, spayed, house trained, and getting a lot better with crate training (she just gets anxious at first but settles down). Apply to adopt Miss Tabitha today and never have a dull day again as she’s sure to bring you smiles.

Story
Adoption Event Saturday 11/04/23 from 12:30 to 3:00 at PETCO 1780 Garnet Ave - Pacific Beach, CA 92109 Come to meet our sweet and loving sweet pea Nina- she is about 10 months old, crate trained, leash trained - and she has so much love to give you. She was found sleeping in the trash, just so scared; so skinny, hungry and thirsty; she deserves a loving forever home. She is not a barker, but she is protective when needed. she gets along with the current dog pack she is with now at the sancturary - she loves to play with all dogs, small or large - :) Nena is a very happy camper; loves to run, and explore as well:) she will be a great family addition. I would love to have an active family, prefer to be the only pet; however, I can adjust with the proper training as I am still a baby:) My rescue is offering $100 dollars credit toward my basic training with Petco or if you wish to do it somewhere else we will refund $100 once the training is completed:) I am a love bug, and once tired out I am the bestest cuddler! Story
She’s a golden girl! Oh, hay! I mean– hey! My name is Palomino. Just like the beautiful golden horses, I have a heart of gold and the energy to match! I’m a 2-year-old, 49-pound spayed shepherd mix. I previously had surgery on my left hip for hip dysplasia and now I’m galloping with the best of them! I was originally rescued from Los Adoptables south of the border. Now that I’ve trotted on up to the States, I can’t wait to find a stable... I mean, a loving home of my own! I’m a total sweetheart who gets along with other doggos, kiddos, and grown-ups alike. Sometimes I prefer a slow intro to males, but once I warm up, we’re buds. I haven’t met any cats, so I’m not sure what I think about them. I can be very playful and love car rides, my toys, walks, and going on adventures. I can also be a laid-back lady who likes relaxing for some cuddles. I’m a happy, loyal girl who loves being wherever my people are. I’m a well-behaved gal, especially when treats are on the line! I’m bathroom and leash-trained, but I’m not a big fan of the crate. I get a little separation anxiety, nothing too dramatic, and prefer being part of the pack. I’m a great listener and could even see myself as a therapy dog. I have a heart bigger than a horse! My easy-going, lovable pawsonality makes me a great pup for anyone from an active couple to a growing family. I could be with or without other pups– as long as I have my people nearby, some cuddles, and playtime, I’ll be riding high! If I sound like the perfect NEIGHbor (more like roommate) let’s giddy up and meet up! My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering, shots, and microchip. If you want to take me home, please fill out the form on the website here: https://theanimalpad.org/adoption-application/   ##1762387##
