Meet Mr. Wilson! This handsome boy is still looking for a place to call home. He was found abandoned in a hotel room down south with a female Chihuahua, who has since been adopted. He is approximately 3 years old, 43lbs, and we believe a pit mix. He has yet to meet a stranger and has done very well with the resident female dog and another 8lb male foster puppy. In his new home, he'd love to have a furry companion to play and hang out with. We do recommend older kids due to his strength and possibly knocking little ones over and please no cats or small non-dog animals. Mr. Wilson loves to play with toys and is treat motivated. He is crate trained but would love nothing more than to just hang out with you on the couch and get lots of snuggles. He is on the waitlist to be neutered and being treated for heartworms. Dasha is about 5 years old, a female terrier/shepherd mix. Her ears stick straight up like Yoda's, everyone loves them :) Dasha is really sweet and loves to cuddle. She's a bit of a clutz sometimes, but she makes up for it with her love. For fun she loves to cuddle on the couch, bask outside in the sun, attend doggy daycare, and play fetch/tug of war. She's good with cats and dogs her size. She knows sit, down, stay, touch, and go find it. She is also crate trained. For the most part, Dasha is a good, sweet dog, however she's had behavioral issues, including nipping at multiple people. It is recommended she live in a home without young kids. According to the trainer she’s had, she sometimes doesn't realize the difference between playing with people and playing with a dog. Dasha would love a home with someone who is home often.

MEET OWEN!   This gentle and loving boy is a bull terrier/plott hound mix, is 5 years old, and weighs in at a healthy 84 lbs. Initially adopted with our shelter partnership 4 years ago, he was sadly returned to the shelter of origin because the toddler was highly allergic to him. While we don't know fully why Owen wasn't surrendered directly to us, his time in the shelter was short, and he was given all of his shots.    Owen also has allergies. He is highly allergic to all poultry, and his fur will come out in clumps if he is given any food with chicken, duck, turkey, or their eggs. He is on a diet of fish and potato and is enjoying a soft and lush coat.   Owen loves children. Despite his size, he was an absolute gentle giant with the baby of the house. He knows all of his commands, but he will pull when he gets ready for a walkie. He loves to be outside sniffing all the things! Owen has done well with male and female dogs his size and smaller.    Owen really needs to be back in a home. He is a nice, nice boy who would be as happy laying next to you as he would going out on an adventure. He is great in the car and is very forgiving of his chauffeur's off key singing.
