I am so smart like a bull terrier- somewhat stubborn, like a bull terrier, but I follow my NOSE like a beagle! I am super cute, only about 40# and I am pretty active. I love to have a hard playing buddy, no small animals (like kitties) as I have a prey drive- like a bull terrier.. you see where I am going with this, right?? I would love have an active family, kids older than grade school as I love a moving target and smaller ones don't quite understand that. I am a love bug, and once tired out I am the bestest cuddler! Pluto is an adorable, energetic 5-year-old Pitbull/Labrador mix. During the first three years of his life, he lived in three very different environments. This has led to anxiety challenges for him; he can be quite vocal about feeling discomfort in new or challenging situations. Once he's gained confidence and you've earned his trust though, Pluto is the sweetest, most affectionate companion. He LOVES being outdoors—grass, sunshine and fetch are his primary needs. He's had a good bill of health, his only special need is food that does not contain chicken, as he is allergic. After an incident wherein a small child threw a ball at his head, Pluto is very scared of kids. Any home with children will not bode well for him, and any foster parents who have children over often may not be a good fit. He is also not trained to stay in a crate for long periods of time. Overall, optimal foster parents for Pluto are super patient and active adults who love to be outside.

Gala is such a sweet, rambunctious, and adaptive pooch with so much personality — made all the more rewarding when you consider how she started out at the shelter: a very timid, fearful gal. She loves to go on walks —she sits at intersections! — and is perfectly houstrained. Gala is great on-leash outdoors around other dogs, but she can be reactive around other animals inside the home, so she would thrive in a home where she`s the only pet or has time to get to know the other four+ legged patrons of the abode. Gala loves to nibble on her toys. When she wants your attention, she`ll bring her toy and play footsie, holding your feet between her paws. It`s extremely cute. She clearly knows how to get your attention — but don`t be deceived! She`s capable of entertaining herself for hours should you put a plushy toy her way. Smitty is a sweet soul. He longs for and demands cuddles and pets. He likes to go for short walks. He likes all kind of toys, stuffed toys, balls, ropes, bones, he is still trying to figure out the puzzle toys, he simply pops off the pieces covering the treat instead of sliding it over. He enjoys sitting outside with you for some fresh air Smitty is not reactive, he's very calm with other dogs although he does enjoy a little rough and tumble and what we call big mouth. He is very smart and strategic but gets along very well with Coco (Amer. Bulldog). They cuddle up together, play together, follow commands together, walk together. He is also not aggressive towards cats. He just looks at them and otherwise ignores them. He has a lot of puppy left in him but is eager and willing to learn. He does jump up on people and can be a bit nippy so young children would not be best for him. He really enjoys to nap after a walk or a run around outside. Overall he is a lovebug that expects attention and pets from every one he meets. He's very laidback once comfortable

Ivy was born on May 11th 2022 in Houston, she has been part of our family since then, she is very sweet dog and love everyone she meets. I am currently having a health trauma and is unable to physically care for Ivy or the expenses that comes with with walking services. So I am hoping to find a new home for Ms. Ivy. I want a caring family that love pets and will take care of her. Ivy is very sweet and would do well in a home where she has a yard and/or regular walks. She likes kids and has done okay with the cats, though they are mostly kept separate. But l believe if you introduce them well, there will be no aggression toward the cat or other dogs. She is a cuddle bug and just wants to love you. I always sit with her for a bit after our walks.
