Story
Hi! I’m Kylie, your future best friend and professional heart-stealer. I’m a classic Old English Bulldog girl—full of personality, a little goofy, and always ready to make you smile. I’ve got the important stuff down: I’m house trained, potty trained, and kennel trained (pretty impressive, right?). I love my routine, especially when it includes food—mealtime is basically my favorite event of the day! Treats? Don’t even get me started… I get SO excited. I’m happiest just being near my person. Whether you’re working, relaxing on the couch, or doing your thing around the house, I’ll be right there—either watching you with my sweet little face, chewing on my favorite bone, or getting cozy with my bed or pillow (I might even carry it around so I’m comfy wherever I go!). When I’m happy (which is often), my whole body gets involved—especially my wiggly little butt. It’s kind of my signature move. I’m not much of a barker, and I do really well with people. I prefer slow introductions with smaller, calm dogs, but honestly, I’d be totally content being your one and only. I really shine in a home where I can soak up all your love. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will make you laugh, melt your heart with one look, and always be by your side—I’m your girl. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
While working pest control a client of mines kept her outback in feces 24/7 so I took her in in order to re home her to a more suitable owner. I already have 5 dogs and a busy schedule and cannot afford another.

Story
Otis is a sweet, loving, silly, and stubborn English Bull Terrier. He is goofy - loves to lay on his back and wiggle around. He is super chill - one good walk a day keeps him happy, and he'll mostly lounge around the rest of the day. Otis awas found as a stray 10 years ago, when he was estimated to be around 3 years old.  He's been a very loved faimly member ever since. Otis is pretty mellow for the most part, with bursts of energy (aka zoomies) that will make you forget he's 13 years old! Otis enjoys lounging around on his dog bed or the couch. In warmer weather, he'll enjoy lounging outside and sunbathing all day. He loves one walk a day - ideally at his pace, which can involve side adventures to plug his head into a bush for minutes at a time. An ideal home for Otis would be adults only, with no children (including visiting children) and no other pets. Otis can be reactive with other animals, so he must be an only pet. Any exposure to other animals should be avoided or strictly on leash with careful management by a person experienced with handling a strong dog.  He is typically very sweet and calm with adults.  Children can over stimulate him.  The goal is to maintain safety at all times.  For that reason, he needs a child-free home. Otis is house-trained and only has occassional accidents due to his age, but he is very good at using a pee-pad in a designated place when that happens. He is very good on leash for his walks. Otis does have seasonal arthritis, but it is well-managed with a daily anti-inflammatory. Otis (English Bull Terrier, ~13 yrs, 55 lbs) is a sweet, loving, mellow senior who’s happiest with one good walk a day and then lounging the rest of the time. He’s neutered, up to date on vaccines, and in good health. Otis needs a very specific, safety-focused setup: an adult-only home with no small children (including visiting) and no other pets, and someone comfortable managing a strong dog with clear boundaries.  The perfect home for Otia would also need to have experince with his brred.  This senior gentleman will be an excellent addition to the right family.   To learn more about Otis and request an application please reach out to Vivienne by email at  vivienneajames@gmail.com or text 615-943-7311.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  March 12, 2026, 6:44 pm

Story
Meet Helium (aka Meat, Meathead, Grandpa) 🐾 9 years old | 63 lbs | Old English Bulldog Say hello to **Helium**, affectionately known as **Meat** — 63 pounds of bulldog charm, 9 years young, and fully committed to living his best golden-years life. This Old English Bulldog is a retired heavyweight champ who’s swapped the ring for **naps, snacks, and deluxe belly rubs**. He snores like a freight train and considers it a feature, not a flaw. What Helium Brings to the Table: Certified love bug: Cuddles and back scratches are his favorite pastime. Chill vibes only: Easygoing, confident, laid-back, and gloriously unbothered by drama. Socially polite: Helium is okay with other dogs and cats in passing or for short, calm interactions but he would prefer to be **the only pet in the home**, where he can soak up all the attention. Cool customer (literally): He overheats easily, so his forever home must include good AC and short, leisurely walks in cooler weather. Crate pro: He’s got crate life mastered and appreciates a cozy space to relax. Helium’s Favorite Hobbies: Super-slow strolls when the weather is cool Being doted on like the king he is Lounging like a seasoned professional Collecting nicknames (and yes, you’ll definitely add a few of your own) His Story: Helium landed in the shelter after being abandoned in an apartment (rude!). But true to form, he bounced back like a champ and is now thriving in foster care — ready for a family who will treat him the way he deserves. The Bottom Line: Helium is the **ultimate couch companion**. He’s not looking for marathons or mountains — just a cool, comfy home, plenty of belly rubs, and humans who believe underbites are simply smiles in their purest form. **Adopt Helium.** Because every handsome old soul deserves a retirement full of love, belly rubs, snacks, and naps. 💙🐶 ********************************************************************************** Hatton Animal Rescue spends significantly more on each dog than the adoption fee covers; please consider making a tax-deductible donation by visiting us at https://www.hattonanimalrescue.org/sponsor.
