Hi! My name is Buddy Guy. I was 8 months old when I came 'round these parts from Georgia. I was lost and forgotten and not given much learnin' that was until MVPC found me. I was desperate for help and they gave all that to me and something I never had before, the feeling of safety. I am forever grateful for their help. I must move on they told me and find a forever family to help build me into the best dog that I can be. I know right off, that I am a large boy. I am tall. Currently holding around 80lbs. I am under 2 years old. I LOVE TO PLAY, PLAY, PLAY, AND DID I SAY PLAY? My off button works, but you have to stay on top of me! My foster momma said that I didn't get the rearing that I needed those first 8 months at all! I don't understand all that, but I do know my foster momma has worked with me a whole lot. I've gotten better. I need a patient family who is willing to continue to work with me. I would like some older kids and a younger dog that can keep up with me and not get mad at me and hurt me. I don't know anything about all that fighting. If you have a meany don't look at me! I want to play! Move on, sweetheart! Much love to you. ADOPTION FEE: $350 (All MVPC dogs are heartworm-tested and on prevention, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate-trained and house-trained)

I AM READY TO GO HOME!! If you are approved to be my new family, a hold fee of $100 is required and will be applied to the full adoption fee of $350 when MVPC comes to visit your house with me!

PLEASE NOTE: We are volunteer based and a home visit is required; we have a two-hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions for our ADULT dogs only, though rare, may be made on a case-by-case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!
