Story
Hi! I’m Kylie, your future best friend and professional heart-stealer. I’m a classic Old English Bulldog girl—full of personality, a little goofy, and always ready to make you smile. I’ve got the important stuff down: I’m house trained, potty trained, and kennel trained (pretty impressive, right?). I love my routine, especially when it includes food—mealtime is basically my favorite event of the day! Treats? Don’t even get me started… I get SO excited. I’m happiest just being near my person. Whether you’re working, relaxing on the couch, or doing your thing around the house, I’ll be right there—either watching you with my sweet little face, chewing on my favorite bone, or getting cozy with my bed or pillow (I might even carry it around so I’m comfy wherever I go!). When I’m happy (which is often), my whole body gets involved—especially my wiggly little butt. It’s kind of my signature move. I’m not much of a barker, and I do really well with people. I prefer slow introductions with smaller, calm dogs, but honestly, I’d be totally content being your one and only. I really shine in a home where I can soak up all your love. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will make you laugh, melt your heart with one look, and always be by your side—I’m your girl. Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Itzy Bitzy — Foster Dog extraordinaire!! Itzy Bitzy is a very sweet, loving Bull Terrier who absolutely adores her humans. She is generally a very quiet, well-mannered girl, although recently she has found her bark and has started using it a bit more than before. She is not reliably house or kennel trained, as she does not signal when she needs to go outside. While she does know how to use a doggy door, she will still have accidents in the home. It also appears she may have been previously trained to use puppy pads, as she often seeks out soft surfaces such as towels, blankets, and dog beds to urinate on. Because of this, she will need continued guidance and supervision in a home environment. Itzy is very food motivated and has mastered the art of sitting politely for snacks. In fact, if you have food in your hand, she may decide to sit before you even ask! She loves attention and is playful when you engage with her, but she isn’t overly energetic or demanding. She does best as the only dog in the home. Itzy is dog-selective and can become extremely reactive around other dogs, so a home without other pets would be the safest and happiest environment for her. Aside from her occasional new interest in barking, she is still generally a quiet girl in the home. Itzy does have some eye conditions that will likely require lifelong medication, but she doesn’t let that stop her from being her sweet, playful self. She would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loving, affectionate dog who enjoys being close to her people and appreciates a good snack! Best fit: A loving, patient home where Itzy can be the only dog, receive consistent potty training support, and get all the attention—and all the treats—she deserves. ❤️ Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550(includes transport to your area)

Story
Meet Cass (Short for Casper) 👻❤️ She's the friendliest little ghost puppy you'll ever meet! Cass isn’t always great at first impressions. Meeting new people can be a little overwhelming for her, so she may need a few minutes to settle in. But don’t let that fool you, because once she feels safe, she’s guaranteed to steal your heart. She is one of the warmest, funniest, cuddliest, most loving dogs you’ll ever meet. At just 11 months old, Cass is a Shar Pei/bully breed mix weighing about 50 pounds. Cass is both completely deaf and visually impaired. When she arrived, she needed entropion surgery to correct her painful eyelids, and her surgery was a huge success. Despite her challenges, Cass approaches life with incredible resilience, joy, and love. She absolutely thrives around other dogs and would love a home with medium or large canine companions. She enjoys dogs of every size, but because she plays with the same enthusiasm regardless of her playmate’s size, we think she’d be happiest with dogs who can match her energy. Cass walks beautifully on a leash, settles nicely in her kennel at night, and loves both playtime and cuddle time equally. She would do well in a home with children ages 5 and up. She would do best in a home without cats. This sweet girl is eager to learn, eager to love, and eager to be someone’s best friend. If her future family wanted to teach her hand signals—or even learn a little sign language with her—we think she’d absolutely blossom. Cass is truly a beautiful soul who deserves a patient, loving family willing to see past her disabilities and recognize the incredible dog she is. She may not be able to hear your voice, but she has a special way of knowing exactly where the love is. One last thing: Cass is incredibly passionate about giving kisses. Keep a slobber towel nearby, because while she may not hear you coming, the moment she knows you’re there, she’ll shower you with all the kisses your heart can handle. Cass's adoption fee is $295 and she's spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Apply to meet Cass today!

Story
We found Shelby, at the Multnomah County Animal Shelter about a year and a half ago. She had been abused, abandoned, and left feral (for an assumed 6 months) by her previous owners before being rescued. Due to this traumatic past, she has “Small Animal Issues” and tends to be extremely dominant in situations around them. Never biting, but aggressively assertive and tends to nip. She has never drawn blood, nor has she bitten a human. She is very loving, kind, and gentle. Especially around children. Our 7y.o. granddaughter adores her, and Shelby reciprocates that emotion. She IS the Alpha, and needs to be the only pet for a loving, strong, patient, and experienced owner (family) who doesn’t mind sharing the couch, bed, personal space, and car!!!🤗😃🥰We hate to rehome Shelby, but our living situation has taken a drastic turn and we have no choice. She really is a sweet girl, she just needs love and training.SERIOUS RESPONDENTS ONLY PLEASE…She deserves a wonderful and happy life!!!
