MEET BILLY THE BOXER MIX! If you're looking for a quirky, energetic dog, a ball of energy ready to rumble and roll, Billy is it! He is a fun-loving 1-1/2-year-old Boxer-Shepherd mix who is ready to rock your world. He's just a puppy and could use some leash training, but he's got a lot of good things going for him. First of all, he's unique and funny - he's got big floppy ears, and one is usually up and the other down. Secondly, he's good with other dogs. He was basically raised in an animal shelter so got used to having other pups around. He absolutely needs an active person or people and a yard would be a plus so he could run around, and then take a snooze. It's not mandatory, though, as long as you are active. He is stocky and built like a tank, and weighs about 65 lbs. Can you foster or adopt Billy? Billy is currently in California still, but can be transported to you in Oregon.

HI - I'M MARLIE! I'm a 10-month-old sweet and submissive Boxer girl in need of a foster or forever home. I was impounded at a California shelter after I was found as a stray in an alley. I rolled over on my back then to get belly rubs. I have been fine around other dogs and I'm basically a growing puppy with lots of love to give. I can be shy at first. Can you foster or adopt me? Ann Marie is really too distinguished of a name for someone who wiggles and snorts the way this girl does. Ann Marie is a (unofficial) Certified 1st Place Snuggler. She hasn’t shown anyone the ribbon but she will show you how she secured the title, all you have to do is sit down somewhere, she will seek you. Ann Marie is estimated to be 7-8 years old, possibly a boxer/ pittie mix, and she weighs 50 lbs. Of course, given she is a rescue we cannot guarantee breed or birthday. This girl knows a thing or two because she has seen a thing or two, she has earned her opinions. For example,, people are awesome, other dogs are just meh. It's similar to a feeling I see plenty of people develop as we get older… other adults-meh, dogs- heck yes! So don’t fault her, she can be polite and coexist but where she really wants to be is with the people. She’s great with kids, her foster’s 12-year-old daughter is her best-snuggle -buddy and she’s done well with other dogs when introductions are slow and respectful. Anne Marie is confident and prefers low-energy, chill, canine companions, ideally a calm male who respects the fact that she is slow to warm up, or she would be just as happy soaking up the spotlight as your one-and-only. High-energy dogs or pushy playmates are not for her. Anne Marie isn’t needy, but she thrives on your presence. She’s house-trained, non-destructive, rides well in the car, and has an easy, leisurely pace on leash. She doesn’t need long walks, just short strolls, lots of love, and plenty of couch time. Can we say low-maintenance together? Low-maintenance. That’s the best way to describe her. While she’s lived around cats before, she can get too interested in chasing a playful cat, so a cat-free home would be best. One thing is certain with Chanel Belle, this girly loves to love and she adores people. She is the type that will lay snuggled up on the couch with you on a lazy Sunday watching your favorite show and the type that will be your little helper while you do things around the house or in the yard. Chanel Belle is the perfect example of a dog that is just happy to be with you, no matter where you are. She loves every single person that she meets and tries to give them a hug. Her whole body wiggles and her docked tail is moving at maximum speed. It's so cute! She is a rescue dog and with any rescue it's always a mystery, and we cannot guarantee breed or age. We do think she may have some sort of boxer or bully type breed somewhere in there because she has a cute little under bite that pokes out from time to time. Chanel is dog friendly and has been around a variety of different dogs all with different personalities and temperaments. She is not the playful type with other dogs and is more of a relaxed hangout type of girly that prefers to get attention from people. She is happy to be around dogs that have the same cool, calm, collected tempo as her. Chanel also appreciates being around dogs that give her space at the beginning to get to know them first. She's a polite and respectful gal that likes for the same energy to be reciprocated. Once’s she’s comfortable, she does the cutest little play bows and loves to zoom around with her new friend in light hearted games of chase. In a home, she would do best with a mellow male dog that enjoys the company of other dogs and isn't looking for a playmate, only looking for company. She'll be perfect for that! Chanel also does not need another dog in the home, so no worries there if you don't have a dog. She is so loving and affectionate that she has enough love to give that is equivalent to 3 dogs combined. She's something special! Chanel would also do best in a home with no cats as she was a little too interested in our house cat Biggie. When it comes to training, Chanel is ready and eager to learn! She loves treats and already knows a few basic commands such a sit and I'm fairly certain she has the foundation of already knowing how to sit pretty. You could probably even teach her how to dance too LOL. Chanel is fairly easy to walk on a leash and only pulls every so often. She responds well to correction and with consistency and practice she'll be walking like a queen on leash. Chanel has wonderful house manners and is crate and potty trained. Her only request is that you let her snuggle on the couch with you. Chanel would thrive in a home with a semi-active family that enjoys going on walks around the neighborhood and is looking for a super affectionate girly. If you're someone that likes to host and have people over, Chanel will be the very first one to greet your guest. Not feeling super social one day? That's fine by Chanel, she'll be happy wherever you are. We also believe that she would be thrilled for her home to have a backyard where she can stretch her legs, enjoy the sunshine, and meander around with you while you work on your garden or do things around the yard. Hello! I’m Sabrina, a lively five-year-old pitbull and blue heeler mix. I’m spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and I’m currently thriving in my foster home, soaking up new experiences like a sponge! I’m friendly with both cats and dogs, as long as we have the right introductions. You can’t miss my charming smile and my adorable blocky head! My favorite activities include evening strolls, chasing after balls, enjoying car rides, snuggling up on the bed, and showering my humans with kisses. Frankie is a 4 year old female pit mix and 55 lbs. She is a wonderful hiker and greets other dogs with respect. She gets along well with our relatives larger and smaller dogs. Frankie is crate trained and house trained. Initially, Frankie was good with our cats but now is lunging when they are near because she resource guards her treats and food. But she is generally ok with the cats if no treats are out. She doesn’t get the daily exercise she needs. I’m striving to improve that.
