Story
HI - I'M CHARM! I'm a darling 9-month-old medium-sized Boxer mix (possibly part Lab) in need of a foster or forever home! I was rescued from an overcrowded California shelters, and originally came from a hoarding case. I'm a bit shy at first but overall I love being around people and other dogs. I'm quite small - between 30-40 lbs - and would make a great dog for an active single person, couple or family with older kids. Please email for an application.

Great semi energetic snuggly little boy!! Please contact us to submit an application directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com or https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other Rubble is a 6 mos old (DOB 8 Feb 2023) 40 lb Boxer/Retriever mix. He will be a medium to large dog as an adult. Rubble, his mom (45 lb) and littermates were found running down access road of a highway when they were 5 weeks old. Everyone in litter and mom died of Distemper (due to owner not giving them shots). Rubble is the sole survivor. He will be special needs throughout his life. He is a very special puppy that has tons of love to give and loves all humans, children, playing with other polite /low energy dogs, playing with toys and visiting with volunteers/staff getting chicken /treats. Did we say he LOVES his humans? When he plays and does his walk abouts you do not see any affects of distemper. He is crate trained, walks on a leash and loves car rides. He will benefit from some continued obediance training and public socialization with new environmental objects. He will play, then will hang out on the couch or your lap. He requires an owned home with a securely fenced yard in a colder climate as the hot TX temperature is not conducive to his health. He is looking for a special needs mixed breed dog experienced family. He will do best with another dog companion and someone that works from home or caregiver (female) is home. No apartments. Story
Meet Caesar! This gentle 4-year-old and 72-pound boxer boy is ready to steal your heart with his sweet demeanor and mellow energy. My favorite thing about Caesar is the kisses he gives you and he will give lots of them. When first meeting if you crouch down low and baby talk him he will literally melt into a gushy lover boy and start wagging his tail. His face becomes the most expressive and his head tilts when you talk to him like he’s having the conversation with you. The boy is a gentle boy that is cautious to not knock you over but he does love to stand up and give you BIG hugs. If you stop giving him love he will affectionately paw your hand to say, Hey, I still want more!” This week Caesar’s foster took him to the Houston dog show where he met many new dogs and kids with the best manners! Caesar is a whiz when it comes to meeting new dogs, no matter their size or gender. Caesar is a medium-energy boy who knows how to read other dogs' cues to play or be left alone. Caesar transitions smoothly into new homes and quickly adapts to routines and rules. He respects corrections from other dogs and coexists peacefully with them, showing his adaptable nature. Caesar has made tremendous progress with crate training. He willingly enters his crate on command and has learned to communicate his needs effectively. Caesar is vocal only when he needs to go potty and politely requests to be let out of his crate. Caesar thrives in a calm environment and enjoys exploring his surroundings before settling down for a nap. He's content spending time in his crate or freely roaming the apartment, showing excellent behavior in both settings. This sweet boy sleeps through the night in his crate without any issues. While Caesar can be timid around loud noises and cars, he's been improving with consistent encouragement and support. He benefits from a confident handler who can guide him through these challenges. On walks, he may startle at sudden noises or movements but responds well to verbal corrections. He works every day building up his confidence. We think his best home would be in a suburban neighborhood or in a rural setting. This boy is likely not going to be a downtown high rise city boy! This smooshy-faced sweetheart gets along famously with dogs of all sizes and loves being part of doggie play groups. He's friendly, submissive, and adores human attention. Caesar is looking for a loving home where he can continue to build his confidence and enjoy the companionship of a caring family. Could Caesar be the loyal and loving companion you've been searching for? He will be ready to smother you in kisses! Story
Marian is a 1-year-old black and white pittie mix with a zest for life and a heart full of love! 💖 Whether it’s long walks on the beach, hiking, or just splashing around in the sprinkler, Marian is ready to be your partner in all things fun and adventurous! Marian is an incredibly good girl who gets along wonderfully with kids, cats, dogs, and even chickens! She loves watching the chickens throughout the day and being gentle with everyone around her. Marian is quiet and peaceful, enjoying tranquility but also loving playtime, especially with kids. Her foster family says she’s a darling, looking for her forever family to share love and joy with. Marian dreams of a family with kids who want to play and a yard where she can run and explore. She enjoys pack walks with her seven foster mates and does great with leash greetings in the yard. Marian is working on her crate training and loves to tuck herself into her crate with her toys or curl up for a rest. She gets along famously with all the dogs in her foster home, especially the Chihuahua! While she needs a bit of leash work, Marian corrects easily and loves learning new things. When it comes to cats, Marian had a little interest in our resident cat at first, but once he jumped up into the cat tree, she let it go. At home, she has no interest in the cats and even gets bullied by a new one without reacting. 🐾 Marian is still a young pup, so she needs a family ready to commit to training, socialization, and all the fun (and chaos) that comes with puppyhood. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. Marian is a quick learner eager to master new skills every day. Her intelligence and willingness to please make her a joy to train. She’s perfect for walks, hikes, and showing off around the neighbourhood. Marian is a star in the making! 🌟 Ready to make memories and share endless adventures? Adopt Marian and embark on a journey filled with fun, love, and joy! 🐾💕 https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/66a290a863fe2b6f240eaec6 Please email elizabethbower@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Hi, meet Mia, a 2yr old cutie weighing in at about 35-40lbs. She has a beautiful grey and white short-haired coat and sweet brown eyes. Mia is a great girl, loving people, kids and puppies. She hasn't met adult dogs yet so we're not sure about that. Mia is very smart and has even learned how to close the door behind her when told to do so (make sure watch her video!). There's so many tricks ahead she's dying to be taught to perform. She's a high energy dog so you'll have a great time playing, hiking, adventures or just walks and cuddles. She is spayed, vaccinated and chipped so get your application in ASAP to meet Mia! Currently being fostered in Bakersfield area, but can be transported up to northern states, such as Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and other close by states, if a great suitable family is willing to adopt her

Story
Hello! I’m Sabrina, a lively five-year-old pitbull and blue heeler mix. I’m spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and I’m currently thriving in my foster home, soaking up new experiences like a sponge! I’m friendly with both cats and dogs, as long as we have the right introductions. You can’t miss my charming smile and my adorable blocky head! My favorite activities include evening strolls, chasing after balls, enjoying car rides, snuggling up on the bed, and showering my humans with kisses. On the flip side, I’m not too keen on sharing my squeaky toys, taking medicine, or getting my nails trimmed, but I’m making progress and getting used to it all. I’ve mastered commands like sit, stay, leave it, no touch, down, off, shake, and up. I’m an energetic girl who also loves to cuddle and can stay calm in a crate or kennel, though I’d much rather be curled up on a big, fluffy blanket on the bed. Food and I are best friends and I’m learning to share my toys. I thrive on attention and am a quick learner, so I’m on the lookout for a forever home that will be patient and continue my training. Could that be you? Please fill out an application:   https://form.jotform.com/60136667457159   ##1874262##

Story
Milk is a big love bug! He just wants to be included in whatever youre doing. He has a lot of energy and loves to run and play. His favorite toys are rope toys, Nyla bones and stuffies with squeakers. He will bark when he needs something, like going potty, more water or food. Barking is his queue. Ive been trying to train that out of him but he seems to be stuck with it. He sleeps in a crate and is crated when I’m not home. He has thrown a bit of a fuss when he can hear me moving around but not letting him be involved. He is still learning how to hold his bladder when excited or stressed. He does have occasional accidents inside his crate, despite being taken potty regularly. Both, his trainer and I agree this will end when hes fully integrated into a new family. He would do best with another dog, preferably a medium or large dog. He takes queues from other dogs to understand the situation. He really just wants friends and a family. Hes very trainable and very eager to learn.
