MEET BILLY THE BOXER MIX! If you're looking for a quirky, energetic dog, a ball of energy ready to rumble and roll, Billy is it! He is a fun-loving 1-1/2-year-old Boxer-Shepherd mix who is ready to rock your world. He's just a puppy and could use some leash training, but he's got a lot of good things going for him. First of all, he's unique and funny - he's got big floppy ears, and one is usually up and the other down. Secondly, he's good with other dogs. He was basically raised in an animal shelter so got used to having other pups around. He absolutely needs an active person or people and a yard would be a plus so he could run around, and then take a snooze. It's not mandatory, though, as long as you are active. He is stocky and built like a tank, and weighs about 65 lbs. Can you foster or adopt Billy? Billy is currently in California still, but can be transported to you in Oregon.

HI - I'M MARLIE! I'm a 10-month-old sweet and submissive Boxer girl in need of a foster or forever home. I was impounded at a California shelter after I was found as a stray in an alley. I rolled over on my back then to get belly rubs. I have been fine around other dogs and I'm basically a growing puppy with lots of love to give. I can be shy at first. Can you foster or adopt me? Ann Marie is really too distinguished of a name for someone who wiggles and snorts the way this girl does. Ann Marie is a (unofficial) Certified 1st Place Snuggler. She hasn’t shown anyone the ribbon but she will show you how she secured the title, all you have to do is sit down somewhere, she will seek you. Ann Marie is estimated to be 7-8 years old, possibly a boxer/ pittie mix, and she weighs 50 lbs. Of course, given she is a rescue we cannot guarantee breed or birthday. This girl knows a thing or two because she has seen a thing or two, she has earned her opinions. For example,, people are awesome, other dogs are just meh. It's similar to a feeling I see plenty of people develop as we get older… other adults-meh, dogs- heck yes! So don’t fault her, she can be polite and coexist but where she really wants to be is with the people. She’s great with kids, her foster’s 12-year-old daughter is her best-snuggle -buddy and she’s done well with other dogs when introductions are slow and respectful. Anne Marie is confident and prefers low-energy, chill, canine companions, ideally a calm male who respects the fact that she is slow to warm up, or she would be just as happy soaking up the spotlight as your one-and-only. High-energy dogs or pushy playmates are not for her. Anne Marie isn’t needy, but she thrives on your presence. She’s house-trained, non-destructive, rides well in the car, and has an easy, leisurely pace on leash. She doesn’t need long walks, just short strolls, lots of love, and plenty of couch time. Can we say low-maintenance together? Low-maintenance. That’s the best way to describe her. While she’s lived around cats before, she can get too interested in chasing a playful cat, so a cat-free home would be best. Meet George, a 6-month-old goofball with a heart full of love and a body that seems to be powered entirely by joy. George is the kind of puppy who believes the world exists to be loved, kissed, and played with, preferably all at once. From the moment you meet him, he wiggles his whole squishy little body straight into your space, climbs right into your lap, and reminds you that no one is a stranger—just a friend he hasn’t kissed yet. His sweet, goofy puppy smile and endlessly wagging, longgg tail (which functions more like a propeller) make it impossible not to fall for him instantly. George absolutely adores people. He is affectionate, cuddly, and so eager to be part of whatever you’re doing. He would be thrilled to be your shadow, your couch companion, your adventure buddy, and your reason to laugh every single day. Despite his busy puppy energy, he has a soft, loving side and is happiest when he’s close to his humans, soaking up attention and giving out kisses like it’s his full-time job. He is incredibly dog-friendly and greets every dog the exact same way: an immediate play bow, lots of kisses, and then straight into joyful chaos. Confident dogs, shy dogs, playful dogs, aloof dogs—George loves them all. He is a rough-and-rowdy, pushy puppy player who thrives with dogs that enjoy that style of play. He loves running, chasing games, tug, sharing toys, and even lazy play sessions. One of his most endearing quirks is his signature move of ducking under things like they’re his own personal tunnels, because clearly that’s the more fun route. George currently lives with multiple dogs and does great in a pack, and he would absolutely love having dog siblings in his future home. That said, he also loves his people just as much and could be happy as an only dog if his humans are ready to keep him engaged and active. George is still very much a puppy and comes with all that happy, bouncy energy. He walks beautifully on leash and checks in constantly, turning to you with eye contact when you say “let’s go,” making him a wonderful companion for walks, outings, and adventures. He would be the perfect dog to take everywhere with you, always ready for the next experience as long as he’s by your side. He does live with cats and approaches them with sweet, goofy intentions, but he can be a little too playful at times. He doesn’t want to harm them—he just wants them to play, endlessly, even when they are very clearly done. Because of this, a cat-free home would be ideal. However, we do think he could go into a home with kitty friends. If he were to live with cats, he would need a playful dog companion to redirect his energy, along with cats who have safe spaces to escape and take a break. George loves kids and does well with them, but he is a growing boy with a lot of enthusiasm and can be a bit rough in his excitement. Older kids who can handle his bouncy play and occasional hops of love would be the best fit. He would be an amazing family dog; he’s playful and cuddly, the perfect formula for a kiddo’s best friend! As for his future home, George is an extremely adaptable pup. He could do well in an apartment with an active family or in a home with a yard where he can zoom and burn off some of that puppy energy. Continued training will help him channel all that excitement, but his eagerness to engage and love people makes him a joy to work with. George is, at his core, a silly, affectionate, playful little soul who wants nothing more than to love hard and live life to the fullest. We originally bought Eros as a puppy with his brother whom he has been kennel mates with his entire life. We recently had a baby and we have more than one dog, and it has gotten to be too much for our household. He loves being outside and playing in the water, and is good at being an indoor dog as well. He loves to cuddle. He is potty trained, and knows certain commands like potty, sit, and lay down. He has been pretty sheltered most of his life and has lived with his brother, so we’re not quite sure how he will take the separation, we are hoping that he can go to a loving home where he can get the full attention he deserves.

Jr. is very strong Bully XL who came from a breeder in Bend Oregon. He is a wonderful dog, but due to health issues, I'm not strong enough to control him. He is extremely smart so the person that he will go to needs to know how to handle a dog that is not only strong, but knowledgeable about this breed. If you know this breed they need a strong dominate owner. He has lots of energy, loves to go for car rides and walks. We purchased him when he was 8 weeks old and has only been around children 13 years of age and older so I don't know how he will do with very small children. For this reason, I will not allow him to go to a family with small children. Also, he has only been around the cats and other dogs we originally had when we got him. For this reason, I don't know how he will do around animals he wasn't raise with. He loves to please those around him but doesn't realize how large he is, kind of a bull in a China shop. He gets very excited and gets the zoomies.

Hello! I’m Sabrina, a lively five-year-old pitbull and blue heeler mix. I’m spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and I’m currently thriving in my foster home, soaking up new experiences like a sponge! I’m friendly with both cats and dogs, as long as we have the right introductions. You can’t miss my charming smile and my adorable blocky head! My favorite activities include evening strolls, chasing after balls, enjoying car rides, snuggling up on the bed, and showering my humans with kisses. On the flip side, I’m not too keen on sharing my squeaky toys, taking medicine, or getting my nails trimmed, but I’m making progress and getting used to it all. I’ve mastered commands like sit, stay, leave it, no touch, down, off, shake, and up. I’m an energetic girl who also loves to cuddle and can stay calm in a crate or kennel, though I’d much rather be curled up on a big, fluffy blanket on the bed.
