Story
Lotus is the kind of dog who instantly makes you feel trusted.
She melted right into my arms the moment I met her, tail wagging, and has been an absolute gem ever since. In just two days, she has already become my little shadow outside, quietly following me everywhere while still remaining calm, balanced, and incredibly easy to live with.
Lotus came from a heartbreaking situation. Her owner went into the ICU and sadly will not be coming home, and she was one of several dogs being rehomed afterward. The person trying to place her nearly gave her away to a suspected dog fighter before I stepped in and brought her into rescue.
Despite everything she has been through, Lotus has remained incredibly sweet and trusting with people. She settled into my pack immediately with zero issues, does not bark even when the other dogs are barking, and seems happiest simply being near her people.
She is likely around a year old or slightly younger and weighs about 25 lbs, though she still needs to gain around 5 lbs to reach a healthy weight. She recently had a litter and sadly none of the puppies survived.
Lotus is affectionate without being needy, calm without being shut down, and has one of those naturally easy personalities that makes her fit seamlessly into daily life.

Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations.
If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back.
Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport)
Health: Fully vetted (neutered/spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested)
Adoption fee: $550 (includes transport + vetting)
