Story
See Video of Good Girl Bonnie: This is her hanging out in front of Pet Supplies Plus Friendswood at an adoption event: https://fb.watch/jNdpDcsej2/?mibextid=Nif5oz If you’re looking for a fun, funny, playful, and ready-made dog to blend right into your ACTIVE lifestyle, Bonnie is your girl! Bonnie came to us as a stray, and we were lucky enough to get her into foster with a professional trainer. Bonnie spent several weeks there and knows all her basic commands, is great walking on a leash, and just needs someone who will continue to practice what she already knows! Bonnie is good with other dogs and older/bigger kids – so we’re saying kids over 12. She has a strong prey drive which is inherent in her breed, so she cannot be in a home with cats. Not only is she fully trained, but she’s also fully vetted. She’s vaccinated, has been spayed, is heartworm negative and on prevention. If you'd like to meet Bonnie, the first step is to fill out our no-obligation adoption questionnaire here: bit.ly/starlightadopt. Once you complete the form, an adoption counselor will be in touch. Bonnie’s adoption fee has been waived due to a sponsor donation, and she is fully vetted including vet exam, fecal, deworming, all puppy vaccines, rabies vaccine, heartworm testing, heartworm prevention, microchipping, and spay surgery. We DO NOT do out-of-state adoptions.

Story
NAME: Cujo Sex: Male Color/Pattern: White with black flecks Breed(s): bully mix Weight: 55lbs, needs to gain weight Size: Large Coat length: short DOB approx: 1 year old Age at intake: 1 year old Intake date: October 19th 2023 Description Cujo is a very playful, patient, loving, and gentle young boy. Personality Cujo is a very sweet dog who welcomes everyone. He loves attention and other dogs, and gets along very well with all others. He is well behaved at the vet and in public, and is able to control his enthusiasm. Background When Cujo was found as a stray, he had a collar and remnants of a leash that seems to be have cut off. He walked up to his finder cautiously and lovingly. He was found in a neighborhood around Willow Forest. He was probably dropped off and abandoned by his previous owners. His finders took him to their family vet and no microchip was found. The vet tech estimated he was about a year old. They posted it on the neighborhood Facebook page and no one has claimed him. We have two cats in our home and he has been very curious and has not had any negative interactions with them. His foster home also has a Corgi sheltie mix at home who he loves to play with. Compatibility Other Dogs - yes Cats - yes Kids - yes If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at GNARHouston@gmail.com to arrange a visit at my foster home or local Petsmart!

Story
Meet 3 year old, Riley! What can we say that captures this unique boy? He is silly, playful and confident. Riley loves fetch (but is not a star athlete)! He also loves trips to Lazy Dog Cafe with burgers on occasion. Riley is looking for a seasoned family to join that knows what they want from a dog. He has all of his basic training down after attending a board and train program. His trainer said if he didn't have 4 dogs of his own, he would've adopted Riley on the spot. Riley needs someone that is committed to keeping up his training. His family should match his confidence and discipline for routine. In turn they'll be rewarded with a family member that is unique and loving. This guy bonds for life! If you are interested in adopting Riley please fill out our adoption application https://forgottencoastanimalrescue.org/adoption-application

Story
Beluga is a 4 year old female spayed all white Bull Terrier. When she was found 2 and a half years ago in the Greenway Plaza area in Houston, Texas. I was able to get her spayed and on heart worm treatment since she was heart worm positive, she has received a year injections of ProHeart and currently since January on HeartGuard & Nexguard oral as prevention. She is a snuggler, loves clothes, is very treat motivated. She knows how to sit, lay down, and shake. She would need to be an only pet household. She is a very playful dog with full of energy. She is a sweetheart, I am just unable to keep up with the time she needs to play and thrive now that I will be moving. Thank you all for this space full of people who know the playful sweet behaviors of bull terriers.
