My daughter found Lilikoi while she was living in Hawaii and fully intended to keep her. Unfortunately, shortly afterward, she was relocated by the U.S. Navy to Italy and was unable to bring Lilikoi with her. Before leaving the country, she entrusted Lilikoi to me so I could help find her a loving permanent home. While Lilikoi has been a joy to have, I live in a small one-bedroom apartment without a yard and work long hours. My lifestyle is not well suited for a young, high-energy dog who would truly benefit from more space and daily activity. Lilikoi is a sweet, affectionate dog with no major behavioral issues. She has interacted well with other dogs during walks and has shown no signs of aggression. I believe Lilikoi would thrive in a home with a yard where she can run, play, and get the attention and exercise she deserves. She is a wonderful dog, and we are hoping to find her a safe, loving home that can meet her needs long-term.

Ryder is the total package! This sweet and lovable Cairn terrier mix is the definition of a loyal companion. With a laid-back, easy-going nature, Ryder is happy to hang out with you on the couch or play fetch in the yard — especially if there are doggie snacks involved! Ryder was rescued at 8 weeks old from Hesperia Shelter, with a sibling who passed from parvo soon after they arrived. Ryder never developed parvo and has been healthy since that time. He gets along wonderfully with kids and other dogs, and his non-shedding coat makes him a great option for families who prefer less fur around the house. Ryder’s calm, affectionate, and loyal personality makes him an ideal addition to just about any home. He is microchipped, neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. Chani was rescued from the L.A. shelter, where she was listed as a Cairn Terrier mix. She is about 4 years old and weighs a healthy 12lbs. They said she was super sweet and friendly, and they were not wrong. Chandi can be a little shy at first, but will let you approach her if she knows she will get pets or treats. After that she can be your best friend. Needless to say, she is great with people and just wants to be near her person and snuggle up next to them. She loves pillows too and when she has her favorite, she does not share. She is great with other dogs. They all seem to love her sweet nature. Chandi blended in immediately with her foster dogs and found a playmate with one of them. They chase each other until they can’t no more. She can be talkative, like she’s trying to tell you something. You just have to figure out what. She is good on walks, uses a doggie door, is potty trained and loves cuddles. We have her updated on her vaccines, is spayed and micro chipped. We think she is deserving of all the love, affection & commitment that a new pet parent or family could offer her. When he first came to us, he was very timid and scared, often hiding under the table to feel safe. With patience and consistency, he has begun to warm up to his foster and is showing his sweet, loyal nature. He will need a special adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let him move at his own pace. Once he bonds, that connection is truly meaningful. He absolutely loves other dogs, and having a confident canine companion in the home would be a big bonus to help him feel secure and comfortable. His ideal home would be calm and quiet, with minimal traffic and no small children. A peaceful environment will allow him to continue building confidence and learning that the world can be a safe place. For someone with a gentle heart and a little patience, this boy will make a deeply rewarding companion.
