Story
Chani was rescued from the L.A. shelter, where she was listed as a Cairn Terrier mix. She is about 4 years old and weighs a healthy 12lbs. They said she was super sweet and friendly, and they were not wrong. Chandi can be a little shy at first, but will let you approach her if she knows she will get pets or treats. After that she can be your best friend. Needless to say, she is great with people and just wants to be near her person and snuggle up next to them. She loves pillows too and when she has her favorite, she does not share. She is great with other dogs. They all seem to love her sweet nature. Chandi blended in immediately with her foster dogs and found a playmate with one of them. They chase each other until they can’t no more. She can be talkative, like she’s trying to tell you something. You just have to figure out what. She is good on walks, uses a doggie door, is potty trained and loves cuddles. We have her updated on her vaccines, is spayed and micro chipped. We think she is deserving of all the love, affection & commitment that a new pet parent or family could offer her. We do not do out-of-state adoptions on highly adoptable dogs; we would only consider out-of-state adoptions for dogs that prove hard-to-place locally. We do not hold dogs, please submit your application when you are ready to adopt. If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog, please visit our website to complete an adoption application. It is in the ADOPTION folder at the top of our home page. Just fill in the blanks and SEND. We commonly receive multiple applications for a single dog. Nevertheless, only one applicant will be invited to meet a dog on Saturday at Petsmart in Yorba Linda between noon and 3 pm OR on a mutually agreeable day, time and place during the week. All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, full sets of core vaccinations (rabies and 1 set of distemper/parvo for adults, 4 for puppies) and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc. and they range from $295-$495.

We urgently need help finding a home for my mom’s wonderful doggie Milo. He’s medium size, 3-4 years old, loves all dogs, cats, kids and is super sweet. My mom broke her hip and is in the hospital with a long road to recovery and once she’s home will not have the ability to keep him active as he deserves. This is a heartbreaking situation, but if you have any space in your home or heart for this sweetie, please let us know. And please share with others that might be looking for a little more love in their life. Milo is currently in Big Bear, California.

Hi! I'm Spicy Parsnip nice to meet you! We are pretty sure my Dad was a werewolf and my Mom was a taxidermy because VOILA! it's me!!! I'm around 2-3 years old and I weigh 9 lbs. I am hilarious! All personality packed into one small body. I need a human that is a leader because I am prone to wanting to protect you which is not necessary so please give me direction and let me know you are boss. I am good with dogs and would probably be good with cats too. No kids for me! I am crate trained and house broken. I love walks and car rides. wanna be best friends? Please note: All of our dogs reside in private foster homes.
