Hi there! I’m Nellie! If you’re looking for a tiny dog with a HUGE personality, I’d like to introduce myself! I’m funny, bouncy, zoomy, and always ready for my next adventure. Cairn Terriers are known for being curious, clever, and spirited little dogs, and I’m here to prove that big personality absolutely can come in a small package! I love everyone I meet and firmly believe that every human is just a potential best friend I haven’t hugged yet. Speaking of hugs… I’m a BIG fan! And if you give me the choice between a toy and your lap, well… congratulations, you’ve just become my furniture. I’ll happily sit for treats (I’m smart like that!), but my real specialty is bringing smiles, wiggles, and a whole lot of bubbly Cairn Terrier charm wherever I go. So, what are you waiting for? Apply to adopt Nellie today!

Story
A Note from Boo’s Foster: From the moment Boo entered the program, I got a firsthand look at his incredible, fun-loving personality and just had to foster him. He has been the perfect housemate to my dog and three cats, fitting in swimmingly with the whole pack. Because of my role as Administrator, he’s also a regular fixture at the office, where he treats everyone like a best friend—he truly has never met a stranger and is an absolute crowd favorite. What makes Boo so special is his loyalty. He is incredibly devoted to his person, and I know he is going to form such a deep bond with his forever adopter. He brings so much joy to the room with his playful energy, especially when he finds a toy... and the bigger it is, the happier he is! I know people might feel hesitant about his incontinence, but I always tell them: we established a routine, and that's all it takes. His huge personality shines so bright that you forget about the rest. I know his perfect match is out there, and I’ll be right here rooting him on until they find each other. Apply for Boo today!

Story
Welcome Hannah to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 5-pound small Terrier/Cairn mixed pup. Her mom is Monica. She was on the street as a stray. We took her in to find out she was pregnant. The puppies were born in our Rescue. They have gotten lots of interaction. They are very social and friendly. Hannah is the most fluffy puppy in the rescue and she has slightly longer legs. This will make her a nice walking companion. Her coat is soft and thick. She is a fun pup to pet because of her coat. She is full of personality and very good with her litter group. She goes on a wee pad and is good in a crate. She likes all people and is not shy around strangers. Her mom is 15 pounds. We do think Hannah will be 15 pounds or less full grown. She is not a big shedder. She will make some lucky family a good pet. Anyone who adopts a puppy should not work all day every day because a puppy needs to be with their family and not home alone all day. She needs to finish up her puppy training. She will be a great dog for a social person wanting a matching puppy personality. She would be fine in a smaller condo size yard. She would be fine with other dogs. She can go with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is getting spayed, vaccinated and she will be ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also use one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $600 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See her cute video

The puppies were born in our Rescue. They have gotten lots of interaction. They are very social and friendly. Sean is one of the middle sized boy pups. He has a fluffy coat but not as fluffy as his sister Hannah. He is cute and has the most adorable expressions. He likes being held and is very trusting of all people. He should be 10 to 12 pounds is our best guess full grown. He should be small enough to take with you in a doggy sling or bag. He is a fun pup to pet because of his coat. He is full of personality and very good with his litter group. He goes on a wee pad and is good in a crate. He likes all people and is not shy around strangers. Her mom is 15 pounds. Our guess would be 10 to 12 for him. He is not a big shedder. He will make some lucky family a good pet.
