One was 8 weeks old. VANESSA FISK has had a rough life. We believe someone dumped her in our area. She found herself to our outdoor colony. We found her in our front lawn, attacked by some kind of animal. We rushed her to the vet. She has a huge scar under her fur. You cant see it at all. PEPPER and LEO were too small to return. They deserved a chance to be adopted. And the fact that they had 3 older siblings that were killed by the neighbors running them over was the reason we saved them. Rescue mama was at the shelter picking up kittens for one of her fosters when she saw MELISSA MCALL and her family. They were so sickly looking. Needless to say, the rescue mama picked them all up before they were euthanized. She could not leave them to their doom. Fast forward to a few months back, the rescue that was suppose to take them fell through. So she called us. And we are so glad she did. To our dismay 7 of the 18 cats sent to this clinic ended up in the emergency room. KIRA YUKIMURA was one of them. Her incision opened and were were able to save her. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET and GREETS. No one is available to take calls. ************ If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue.
