Story
Lucille is a special FIV+ girl who is well-loved by her foster family. She is very sweet and outgoing and loves people. Lucille gets along well with respectful children but does require a slow introduction to other animals. Please note that FIV: 1. Is a “cat only” disease and cannot be transmitted to humans under any circumstances. 2. Is not a death sentence. FIV+ cats live long, healthy, and relatively symptom-free lives. 3. Is not easily passed between cats. It cannot be transmitted casually through shared litter boxes, water and food bowls, or when snuggling or playing. If you are interested in adopting, please follow the steps below: 1. Visit https://www.ebarr.org/adopt/ 2. Read the complete information on this page. 3. Visit the website subpage (Dogs|Puppies, Cats|Kittens, or Special Needs|Adults) for the type of animal you want to adopt. Links are on the main 'Adopt' page. 4. Follow the detailed instructions on the subpage to fill out an application and email it to us for review.April 21, 2024, 12:06 am

Story
Please contact Angela (takeakittenhome@gmail.com), (510) 909-6737 for more information about this pet.Marzi is an approximately 1yr old domesticated female that gave birth to 3 male kittens in early April 2023.   She is ready to start her new life! First of all, her coloring is equisite. She’s a beauty. She will take longer to adjust to her new environment than a kitten, for example, but she is friendly and well-mannered. I think she will blossom before your eyes. Marzi is to be an indoor cat. She can tolerate a vacuum right next to her!   Please call Angela Moore at 510-909-6737 for more information as well as a meet and greet!April 24, 2024, 1:41 pm

She has a kind, calm, and sweet demeanor.  Mama and her two sons were dumped and showed up in a backyard. Thankfully, the owner was willing to foster this beautiful family and give them tons of love. Mama loves her sons dearly, still grooms and snuggles with them at night.  Mama's sons, Besha (black and white tux) and Pesha (black), are two sweet and mellow guys. They are friendly and social. The rescuer has attended to this family with kindness and love. She is looking for a savior that would take the entire family. However, Mama can be adopted separately, and the bonded brothers can be adopted as a pair.  CC4C Contact: kericksonttt@yahoo.com or 925-408-5249 Foster: Sonia Cat ID: 273-xx-23 DOB 7/10/23Click here to watch a video of Mama.April 24, 2024, 1:41 pm

Story
Joe (male, orange/white) and Jolly (female, grey/white) were part of a litter of 6 kittens.    They are a sweet pair of kittens who love attention and will jump into your lap, giving you endless joy.  These siblings love to play with one another and, of course, with all types of toys. They are about six months old.   Their mom, Kate, is a calico and is estimated to be about 3 years old. She is a beautiful cat with gorgeous markings and bright, colorful eyes. She has a lot of love to give any human. She’s been a wonderful mom to her six kittens.   If you’re looking for a pair, perhaps adopt mom and one of her kittens or the two kittens together. They would love to be adopted together.    If you’re looking for some pretty incredible and beautiful cats, please email Suzi at suziharris67@yahoo.com or 925-708-6967.  I will send you an application once we have a chance to talk. Story
This is Billy. He showed up one day very skinny so we kept him. Unsure of his age. He is pretty mellow and gets along well with the other cats, especially Julia who he has really bonded with. He likes the outdoors with occasional stays indoors if it’s cold. My parents are both deceased and I am moving to a senior housing apartment very soon where I can only have one pet.
