Story
Kiki is a beautiful loving, curious, playful kitty who is looking for her forever home, preferably with a male owner. For some reason, this girl is all about men! She enjoys her toys, treats, and watching the birds and insects from the window and high upon her cat tree. She also loves lasers, springs, catnip toys, and wands. One of her favorite places to hang out is the bathroom sink! She is a silly girl who will keep you entertained with her cuteness! Kiki takes a little time to warm up, so she needs a gentle, patient owner who will allow her space and security. But once she gets to know you, she will be a loving companion who will cuddle up next to you on the couch and snuggle with you in bed. Then she will be your buddy for life! She will need to be a solo kitty (no other pets in the home) and would probably do best in a child-free home. She is currently located with a foster family where you can meet her to see her personality shine. Apply to adopt Kiki today!!

Story
Meet our stunning Catio princess- CallieThis dazzling 8-month-old calico princess believes her job is to greet every human, dog, and cat as if they’re arriving on her personal red carpet. She was rescued as a tiny kitten with a viral eye infection, and while one eye still has a bit of lingering character, it absolutely doesn’t slow her down. She accepts her eye drops like a tiny warrior monk who’s decided “fine… but only because I’m adorable.”She is outrageously social — first to the door when visitors arrive, first to squish herself into your lap, first to charm the dogs, and absolutely convinced kids were placed on earth specifically to pet her. She thrives in a home with other animals and will happily weave herself into the daily rhythm of a lively household. If you’re looking for a confident, affectionate, dog-adoring, child-charming, eye-drop-tolerant sweetheart who will make your home feel like a sitcom with a very cute lead character, this calico girl is ready for her debut.Currently located in our Punta Mita,Mx. shelter- can be easily flown to you in the U.S.A or Canada via our flight angel escorts!Callie has had our complete Cat protocol :* Complete Health exam by a Vet* Feline tests to rule out FeLV, FIV & Heartworm* Bloodwork 1: CBC (Mycoplasma check if indicated)* Bloodwork 2: Chem profile* Deworming at intake and monthly thereafter* Vaccines: Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis (FVR), Feline Distemper (FP), Calicivirus (FCV), Leukemia, Rabies* Spay/Neuter* Flea/Tick prevention* MicrochippedPlease send us an application at: https://wetnosesrescue.org/adoption-application-cats/

Story
COURTESY POST: Toffee needs an experienced adopter. Read his shelter story below: Toffee is an 8-year-old black-and-white DSH who has perfected the art of being both sweet and spicy — sometimes within the same five minutes. This little spicy bean needs a cat-savvy hero. Now, let’s be honest. Toffee isn’t your average purring lap ornament. He’s got opinions. He chirps, he chats, he reaches out for affection... and sometimes throws in a few nails just to remind you who's boss. He’s not mean — he’s just selective. You know... like most cats, but with a stronger union contract. Think of him as the grumpy but charming neighbor in a sitcom — rough around the edges, but secretly the fan favorite. He doesn't compromise, but he does have a soft side. He just needs someone who can read the signs, respect the boundaries, know when to walk away... and definitely know when to run. If that someone, is you (or someone you know), please contact us. Thanks for considering Toffee. He may be particular, but he’s also unforgettable — and he deserves a home that appreciates his spicy flavor.

Story
MEET SONOMA! Sonoma was rescued from Devore Animal Shelter in November 2024 when he was just a month old, along with his mom, Fontana, and siblings Concord, Darlington, and Daytona. Too young to remember the shelter, he has grown up entirely in the safety and love of his foster home as part of the "NASCAR family." As very young kittens, the entire litter was quite ill, and while Sonoma recovered well overall, he was left with mild nerve damage in his hip area as a result of that early illness. Despite this, Sonoma is a happy, playful, and affectionate boy who enjoys life to the fullest. He loves chin scratches, responds with eager purrs, and is always ready for playtime--especially if it involves crunch balls, crinkle chutes, or cardboard boxes. His mobility and activity level are normal, and the nerve damage does not limit his ability to run, play, or enjoy daily life. He does occasionally experience urinary incontinence, something that is manageable and currently being supported with acupuncture treatments, which have been helping. Sonoma is otherwise a healthy, content, and loving cat. Sonoma is deeply bonded to his brother Darlington, and the two are constant companions--playing together, cuddling, and providing comfort and confidence to one another. Ideally, they would be adopted together into a calm, understanding home that values companionship and is comfortable with Sonoma's minor ongoing care needs. They are the last two kittens from their litter still waiting for a forever home. If you're ready to welcome this devoted pair into your life, please visit www.kittydevorerescue.org to submit an adoption application. ** Please note: Sonoma currently resides in a foster home in San Marcos, CA (San Diego County). Once an adoption application is approved, meet-and-greets are held at the foster home. Approved adopters should be prepared to travel for the visit.

Story
MEET DARLINGTON! Darlington was rescued from Devore Animal Shelter in November 2024 when he was just a month old, along with his mom, Fontana, and siblings Concord, Sonoma, and Daytona. Too young to remember the shelter, he has grown up entirely in the safety and comfort of his foster home. As a very young kitten, Darlington and his littermates were quite ill, but thanks to attentive care and lots of love, he made a full recovery and is now healthy, active, and thriving. Gentle, affectionate, and playful, Darlington is a sweetheart who adores chin scratches, lap snuggles, and cozy companionship. He’s also a joyful little character who loves collecting crunch balls, zooming through crinkle chutes, and investigating boxes as if they hold great secrets. Darlington is especially bonded to his brother Sonoma, and the two are rarely far apart—playing, lounging, and keeping each other company with an easy, affectionate rhythm that speaks to their deep connection. Darlington would thrive in a calm, loving home that values companionship and is open to welcoming a bonded pair. Ideally, he and Sonoma would be adopted together, as they are the last two kittens from their litter still waiting for a forever home and bring out the very best in one another. If you’re ready to open your heart to Darlington (and hopefully his brother Sonoma too), please visit www.kittydevorerescue.org to submit an adoption application. ** Please note: Darlington currently resides in a foster home in San Marcos, CA (San Diego County). Once an adoption application is approved, meet-and-greets are held at the foster home. Approved adopters should be prepared to travel for the visit.
