Calico kittens & cats in Oceanside, California

Cali is a very sweet and loving kitten. She is 4 months old. She loves to be around everyone. She's great around other cats and dogs. She loves to cuddle with you. She's healthy and litter box trained.

River, along with 29 other cats and kittens, were rescued from a property in Riverside by one of our volunteers. River can be shy but with time and patience she could be your best friend. Rive loves other kitties and is very playful.

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Our Hunger Games kittens are 8 months old and looking to find homes that will give them a little time to settle in. They are both sweet and playful but loud noises and quick movements still scare them a little bit. They have made tons of progress in their foster home but still need that little extra amount of patience to allow them to fully trust their humans. They can be adopted together or individually. They also can join a home with another resident cat. Here are some individual traits about both of them. Katniss - She is the more confident of the two. She is cautious at first when meeting new people but warms up very quickly. She loves to play with her brother and also the other kitties in her foster home. She has a very sweet demeanor, and we think as she becomes more and more comfortable, she will be a vocal kitty, she just has to find her voice. She would love to have a forever home and express to you every day how grateful she is for having been rescued. Peeta - This sweet boy is still learning this 'trusting humans' thing but once he thinks you are okay in his book, then he is a purring machine. He loves to play up a storm with any kitty and with any type of toy. He would love a cat tree in his new home too. He just needs someone to give him a chance. We know his forever person is out there, could it be you? They have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, flea treatment applied and microchipped. We MUST NOT let this mother and FOUR NEWBORN kittens be put back onto the streets! Mom is a SUPER FRIENDLY Calico Sweetheart- kittens were born last week (neighbor took the pregnant Mom indoors to be safe but cannot keep them there!) These four tiny babies are still WITH MOM, we need a FOSTER HOME for the four kittens WITH the Calico Mom! If you have a GUEST room or other SAFE SPACE where Mom can raise her babies, YOU get to PLAY WITH THE KITTENS and help socialize them, then YOU may be considered to adopt the PICK OF THE LITTER (Preferably two, of course, because kittens are best in pairs!) Aries is a 2 year old Calico. She is very anxious and cold, but kind when she wants to be. She is very calm and is very smart. Aries loves to play, likes to explore, but can easily slip away. Unfortunately, as a student I am unable to take care of her and her medical needs. She has been peeing all over the house (I am sure she needs medical attention, which I am unable to pay for). She hates water, loves treats, and can defend herself (especially when excessively bothered). It takes a lot for Aries to trust someone, she needs a calm and quiet environment with no kids and no pets and someone who can emotionally/financially support her. Aries hates feeling trapped, (especially in carriers). She will only cuddle on her own and loves warm blankets. She is cute and silly in her own way. I have had Aries since she was a couple weeks old, she is my first pet, and I simply want to find a good home for her. I know she may not be the best in the bunch, but she is definitely worth the effort.

Hi there! Nice to meet you, I'm Stevie and I am a 3 year old male orange tabby. Let's start with the obvious.. I am missing an eye! My foster mom tells me I'm still very cute, though! I was born on the street with a bad eye, and was able to get it removed once I was placed in foster. I have been loving life ever since! I've been told my fur coat is very luxurious, and a beautiful dusty orange color.
