Story
Frannie was my husbands cat when I met him six years ago. Burton, my husband had dementia. Frannie sat with him in the chair every day, especially as he declined. She has been able to go outside and always stayed around the house but the last year she has been more of an indoor cat. When I had to place my husband I. A home, she missed him terribly. I lost my sweet husband a week ago and after years of caring for him, uncertain what my future would bring and having family all out east, I know she would be better adopted my someone that could give her all the love she deserves. I am grieving and my life is very uncertain right now so I would love for someone to take her home and love her. She does better in a quiet home without other pets but she had a brother for years until we lost him so I think she would adapt to another cat but she will stay away from everyone with a dog around. She is sweet, and will love on you. Breaks my heart but I need to find a good home for this sweet baby.

Story
My wife and I acquired Cali along with her brother in 2015 from a good friend of ours. She was a kitten. She is 10 years old. I will describe her as very curious, loving and playful. Would like to find a home that enjoys those characteristics. A place where she can roam around and feel loved. Would love to keep her with her brother PUFF if possible. My wife of 26 yrs passed away and I can no longer care for her or her brother because of my busy work schedule. I live in Mission Viejo, and work in Downtown LA. I travel quite a bit.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Officer Michaela—but don’t worry, I’m not here to issue any citations... unless it's for not giving enough chin scritches.  I’m a white and calico mix with silky-soft fur and a big ol’ heart-shaped marking on my back—because I wear my love literally on my sleeve (or, uh, spine?). I was rescued from under a burning car during the ICE protests in downtown LA (yes, the burning car—what can I say, I have a flair for the dramatic). A kind officer saved me, and I’ve been honoring him ever since with my name and my ridiculously good looks. After surviving flash bangs, tear gas, and the general chaos of street life, I’m understandably a little timid with loud noises and new places. But once I know I’m safe, I turn into a cuddle bug with a purr loud enough to rival a leaf blower. I love batting plastic coils, chasing rattly balls, and showing toy mice who's boss. I’m also litter box certified, thank you very much. If you’re patient, kind, and don’t mind sharing your cat tree (okay fine, my cat tree), I’d love to meet you. Fill out an application at dreamar.org and come see if I’m the brave little furball your heart’s been waiting for. With purrs, Officer Michaela (Reporting for snuggle duty)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 7, 2025, 3:41 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.BlindMeet Jelly a blind kitten who is very sweet. Birthday 6/28/24. She has scarring on her eyes due to an old infection as a baby kitten. She is healed now but the scarring makes her vision impaired. We think she can only see colors & shapes. She needs a slow opportunity to settle into a new space and she will be always nervous when she goes somewhere new because she cannot see. So she’s looking for an adopter who can take great care of her & allow her time to warm up slowly. Once she warms up she is extremely affectionate. She needs restrictions in her new home to keep her safe. High stairs or railings could be dangerous for her so they would need to be blocked off. Lower cat trees would also be a good idea instead of really high ones. We don’t want her to fall off or fall down high stairs or places. Jelly is a lap cat. She purrs a lot, loves attention and being petted, plays with her toys, loves to eat, and allows her foster Mom to pick her up and hold her. She’s a sweetheart. Her foster Mom reports: She voluntarily climbs into my lap, purring. And she’s the easiest cat to care for! She doesn’t even try to wake me up, just plays quietly on her own until she hears I’m awake, then very softly meows. She’s really delightful. Beautiful fur! So soft and colorful sweet JellyBelly. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Hibiscus, and I’ve been waiting ever so patiently for someone just like you to come into my life. I’m a tabby-calico mix with a shiny, beautiful coat and the kind of markings that will make your heart skip a beat (or so I’ve been told). But what truly makes me special isn’t just how I look—it’s how much love I have to give. I’m a gentle soul who adores people. Snuggling on laps? Yes, please! I’m happiest when I’m curled up beside someone who wants to share their warmth and kindness. I promise to purr softly, gaze at you with my big loving eyes, and remind you every day that you are adored. My journey to get here hasn’t been easy. I was left outside during the cold of February—alone and pregnant. Thankfully, a kind stranger rescued me, and I found safety with DREAM Animal Rescue, where I was able to care for my five precious kittens. Now that they’re growing up and finding their own homes, it’s time for me to find mine. I’ve been through a lot, but I still believe in the goodness of people. I believe in you. I know there’s someone out there who will give me the love and gentle care I’ve always deserved. Could that someone be you? Please visit dreamar.org to fill out an application to meet me. I’m ready to start our forever together. With love (and soft purrs), HibiscusVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 20, 2025, 12:27 pm

Story
Several years ago, the Cat Club lost a long-time member who always maintained the #1 female in his life was his cat, Cali. We found a wonderful home for Cali, which unfortunately ended when her adopter entered assisted living recently. So, Cali is once again seeking a human companion. This kitty was showered with love her whole life and, as a result, she is very trusting and affectionate in return. Cali is a lovely calico, with soft multicolor fur and big greenish eyes. A friendly lapcat lady who likes people, Cali has also gotten along fine with dogs, cats, and children. She's been vet-checked, she's up-to-date on all her shots, and she's a healthy 14-year-old. Cali enjoys pets and snuggling, playing with wands and toys, and a pinch of catnip now and then. She likes chatting with her foster, and loves when a new empty box shows up to explore. She's a very sweet laid-back lady cat just hoping to love again. If you would like to meet Cali, call/text Lonnie Painter at 949-533-7947. You won't regret it!

Story
Frankie is a lively and affectionate one-year-old cat with a playful spirit and a love for attention. He enjoys racing around the house, climbing to the highest spots he can find, and keeping his claws busy on his scratching post. While he can be a bit skittish at times, Frankie isn’t shy about letting you know when he’s hungry or craving some affection, he definitely knows how to make his presence known!
