Calico kittens & cats in Lone Tree, Colorado

Junebug is the most adorable 15-week-old tabby/calico mix—and this girl is an absolute love bug! ❤️Junebug asked us to make one thing very clear: she LOVES people! She adores attention and will even reach her little paws toward her foster meowmy’s face asking for kisses. She has a wonderful purr, makes the sweetest biscuits, and is always ready to soak up as much love as her people are willing to give. She’s an absolutely beautiful little doll baby, inside and out! Junebug is friendly, playful and affectionate, and she has done wonderfully with her foster family’s 7- and 9-year-old children, who know how to handle kittens gently. She has crawled up in kids laps and wrestled around. She is an affectionate, playful little girl who seeks out attention, makes biscuits, purrs, and reaches up for kisses. Considering where her story began, seeing how completely she now trusts and loves her people is pretty special.Junebug is also litter-box trained, fully vetted, and has done well with other cats. Her sister is Duchess, and her cousins are Champ, Flame and Ladybird. Discounts are available when adopting a pair. ❤️Junebug’s story started outdoors after two unfixed adult cats were abandoned when their family moved away. Kind neighbors stepped in to feed the growing cat family and tried to help them, but eventually the cats were no longer safe on the property. Junebug’s mom and three brothers disappeared, while Junebug and her sister Duchess were kept as safe as possible outside until rescue could be arranged.Junebug and Dragonfly were the lucky ones who made it into foster care. They initially had to be trapped, and after going about a month without being handled, they had to learn that people could be trusted.Junebug apparently decided people are not just good—they are AMAZING. ❤️If you’re looking for a kitten who doesn’t just want a home but wants to be an active, cuddly, kiss-seeking member of your family, Junebug may be your girl. 🐾❤️Siblings are Duchess, Flame, Ladybird & Champ. LADYBIRD ❤️Ladybird is a beautiful 15 week old calico girl with a big personality packed into a little body! She’s sweet, playful, curious—and just the right amount of calico sassy. This little beauty queen knows she’s gorgeous! 👑🐾Ladybird is VERY food motivated and loves freeze-dried chicken, Churus, wet food and just about any other yummy treat. In fact, she has officially decided her foster meowmy’s proper title is “Treat Dealer.” 😂When she isn’t negotiating for snacks, Ladybird loves playing with toys, exploring, chasing teaser toys and romping around with her siblings and cousins. She has a wonderful purr, loves her people, and has even found her little voice to make sure everyone knows when she has something to say!Ladybird has also spent time playing with her foster’s 9-year-old niece, who is experienced and gentle with cats.Ladybird would be happiest in a home with one of her siblings or cousins, or with another friendly cat. But she would most likely be ok solo. Her siblings are Flame and Champ, and her cousins are Junebug and Duchess. Discounts are available when adopting a pair. ❤️Ladybird’s story didn’t have an easy beginning. Her little family came from a property where two unfixed adult cats had been abandoned outdoors and continued having kittens. A kind family began feeding and caring for them, but when the cats needed to be removed from the property, Ladybird and the other kittens urgently needed help. Their mom disappeared, and the tiny kittens were found in such poor condition that it wasn’t certain they would survive. They were brought inside, bottle-fed until they could be weaned, and eventually made their way to our rescue once they were eating wet food on their own.Ladybird has come a long way from that tiny kitten fighting for a chance. Now she’s ready for the good part of her story—a forever family, plenty of toys, a feline friend to love, and, of course, her very own Treat Dealer! ❤️IMPORTANT: Please do not use autofill when completing our adoption application.
