Calico kittens & cats in Lone Tree, Colorado

This is a decision that has come with a lot of tears. We have a very sweet, affectionate, and adorable 12-year-old cat who has been a loved part of our family for nearly 12 years. She is healthy according to her veterinarian, and she still has so much life and love to give. Unfortunately, we've been battling litter box issues intermittently through her life. We've worked closely with our vet, completed lab work, tried medications (including Zoloft), pheromone diffusers, different litter and litter box setups, and have been diligent about keeping everything clean. Despite our efforts, this has become increasingly difficult for our family to manage in this season of our lives. We're beginning to wonder if she might thrive in a quieter home with someone who is home more often and able to provide the calm environment she may need. This is an incredibly difficult decision, and our greatest hope is simply that she has a happy, loving home for the rest of her years!

Mona is sweet, quirky, talkative, friendly to people, and very loyally attached to her owner. Mona loves attention and would love to be the only cat in the home. She is extremely playful and could play with wand toys or laser pointers for hours. Her favorite treats are temptations and she loves tiki cat wet food. Some her favorite hobbies are sitting by the window to watch the squirrels and birds outside, sleeping in the warm sun, and cuddling next to her owner on the couch. Mona was abandoned as a kitten by her mother, possibly the runt of the litter. I adopted her 7 years ago and have to make the difficult decision to re-home her because she does not get along with my first cat. She would do very well in a single cat household or possibly a cat that is more dominant than her. I am looking for someone who can give her the things she needs and love her unconditionally because she really is a wonderful little kitty.

Meet beautiful Tajun! ❤️🐾Tajun is a cautious, incredibly intelligent girl who likes to take a little time to observe her surroundings and figure things out. Once she feels comfortable, though, she absolutely loves attention and being petted. She has the softest fur and gorgeous, vibrant markings that make her just as beautiful on the outside as she is sweet on the inside.Tajun is litter box trained and would prefer a home without dogs—they’re just not her thing!This beautiful girl also has one little feature that makes her extra special. When Tajun was rescued, she had already suffered an injury to one of her eyes. We tried to save the eye completely, but unfortunately the damage had already been done. She has since been examined by a veterinarian, who determined that the eye does not need any further treatment and is not causing her discomfort.Tajun still has vision in that eye, although it’s a bit like looking through fog, and the eye may always have a cloudy appearance. Most importantly, it doesn’t slow her down or bother her one bit!To us, it’s simply one of the little quirks that makes Tajun uniquely Tajun. Meet Bella! 🐾 Hi! I’m Bella, a 4-year-old spayed girl looking for my forever home! ❤️ I can be shy and anxious at first, but once I warm up, I’m very loving and enjoy plenty of pets and butt pats. If you stop petting me too soon, I may chase your hand until you get the hint! 😂 I love playing with laser pointers, string toys, and of course add catnip in there. I also enjoy kitty friends after I’ve had time to adjust. Once I’m comfortable, I love cuddling and spending time with my people and feline friends. I do okay with dogs, but I prefer ones who respect my personal space and give me room when needed. I’m also particular about my bathroom situation and would prefer having my own litter box. A girl deserves her privacy! 💅🏻😂 I may need some patience while I settle into a new home, but once I trust you, my sweet, playful, affectionate personality will shine.
