At this point, we will remove the animal from our adoption sites and hold the animal for you while we check your references. If you live in an apartment, or a condo, we will need to verify permission to own the animal from your landlord or condo board. Please let your vet’s office and references know we will be contacting them. If your  references are positive, we will schedule a home visit by a volunteer. Please try to accommodate the home visit volunteer as most  have busy schedules. Delays in the visit will result in a delay in the adoption. Once you are approved, you will receive an e-mail with your  adoption contract attached. This e-mail will have details about pick up, the balance of the adoption fee that is owed, etc. Please email your signed & witnessed contract and pay your adoption fee in full, and for any animals located out of state, you will be contacted for details about transport to New England. Once you have paid your adoption fee in full and sent back your contract, you can make arrangement to pick up your animal from the foster home or from transport depending on where the animal is located. My sweet Kiya is up for Rehoming, she is a spayed female Calico, 2 yrs old house trained. She will not use her litter box unless I’m not home she wants to go outside to do her business. Is due for vet exam in June. She is an excellent mouser. Gets a long with older kids, hasn’t been around dogs or other cats. She’s a companion cat for someone loving and is basically a loner. If someone takes the time to introduce her to other cats in time she might take to them but I don’t think she would do well with dogs. All her belongings go with her. She is vet chipped. Hello...I have decided that it is on Menna's best interest to find her a stable home. I had fallen into financial issues and had to move on a boat. I tried to make Menna a boat kitty but she is not comfortable in that type of environment causing her stress. She has been staying at my mom's for the end of the winter. I would love to find her a stable home to live out her old lady years. She is sweet once she is comfortable but it may take a little time. Thanks so much.
