Story
Meet Honey! After lovingly raising her kittens, Honey is finally ready to find a family of her own. If there were a contest for All-American Cat, Honey would win paws down! Not only is she beautiful, but she was the purrrfect mom—attentive, protective, and always making sure her babies were clean and well-fed.   Now that her mama duties are behind her, Honey is ready to be the queen of your castle. She’s got that perfect mix of grit and grace—tough as nails when it comes to mice and creepy crawlers, but sweet as can be with her people. She’s chatty and will greet you with the cutest little hello, and she absolutely adores soft humming and dancing cheek to cheek.   Affectionate, loyal, and full of personality—Honey truly is a delight. Come meet her and see for yourself why she’s the total package.   ##2411422##

Mama Phoenix was found as a stray by a dumpster. She had obviously been dumped as she is very sweet and friendly. We noticed she had quite a big belly on her and we suspected that she was pregnant. We got her back to the rescue immediately and she gave birth the very next day! She had 6 beautiful healthy kittens! Story
Joe Kitty Local is in Rhode Island and looking for his furever home! Seven year old orange tabby Joe is looking for a forever family that will shower him with all of the love he deserves. He is a very sweet, affectionate boy who is a little cautious at first but warms up quickly. We think that he would do well in a home with a calm, respectful pup who respects his boundaries. He would also do well with some kitty siblings! Joe will quickly snuggle his way into your heart! All kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on all age appropriate vetting. The adoption donation for our kittens is $250 which is fully refundable should the kitten not be the right fit for you within the first week of adoption. We do not have a cat application form set up, so please fill out our current general application and note the cat/kitten's name in the "interested in" column so we know who you are applying for. Please note, many of these application questions will not pertain to a cat. We are currently trying to revamp our website to accommodate for cats/kittens. Thank you for understanding! www.rhodehomerescue.org/adoption-form/

Story
Meet Sheldon — the sweet and slightly skeptical sibling from our all-black "Big Bang Triplets" trio! 🖤✨ At 6 months old, Sheldon may not always be the first one to dive into the action… but don’t let that fool you! He’s a sharp little observer, often watching the world (and his brothers Howard and Leonard) from a cozy corner before jumping in with full kitten enthusiasm. 🕵️‍♂️🐾 Once he’s warmed up, this curious cutie is all in on the fun — chasing toys, pouncing on feather wands, and joining his brothers in their kitten capers. He’s the perfect mix of thoughtful and playful, with just enough of a cautious streak to make his silly bursts of energy even more endearing. Looking for a kitty with personality, smarts, and a side of sass? Sheldon might just be your perfect match! Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! We do our best to keep bios updated as we learn more about each cat or as circumstances change. The bio is the best place to find the most current and important information about their needs, personality, and ideal home. Thank you for your interest in adopting from Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue! If this post is still up, we are still accepting applications for this cat(s)/kitten(s). There's no need to email us about availability, just submit an application if you're interested! For more information about our adoption process, please visit our website: https://scruffypawsanimalrescue.org/about-adoption/ All adoption fees include: - Spay/neuter surgery Adoption Process - Microchip - Rabies and distemper vaccinations - Proof of FIV/feline leukemia testing - Flea treatment & deworming - A veterinary exam Please Note: Scruffy Paws operates by appointment only and is not open to the public. Many of our cats and kittens are in foster homes, so for the safety of our fosters and adopters, an approved adoption application is required before scheduling a meet-and-greet. Ready to apply? Story
🌸 Meet Dolly – Sweet, Snuggly, and So Easy to Love! Dolly is a 5-month-old cuddlebug with a heart of gold. Calm, gentle, and endlessly affectionate, she adores chin scratches, belly rubs, and curling up next to her favorite human for a cozy nap. She’s the kind of kitten who makes everything feel a little softer and sweeter. Don’t be fooled by her mellow vibe—Dolly still loves a good play session! Wand toys and bouncy balls are her favorites, and churro treats? She’s obsessed. Dolly is easygoing, fun, and great with other cats. She’s even been around dogs and handled it like a pro—zero fear! She’s bonded with her brother Duke, and together they’re the full package: playful, snuggly, and incredibly entertaining. They haven’t been around young kids yet, but with their sweet natures, they just might become perfect little family members. Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying!
