Story
Meet Honey! After lovingly raising her kittens, Honey is finally ready to find a family of her own. If there were a contest for All-American Cat, Honey would win paws down! Not only is she beautiful, but she was the purrrfect mom—attentive, protective, and always making sure her babies were clean and well-fed.   Now that her mama duties are behind her, Honey is ready to be the queen of your castle. She’s got that perfect mix of grit and grace—tough as nails when it comes to mice and creepy crawlers, but sweet as can be with her people. She’s chatty and will greet you with the cutest little hello, and she absolutely adores soft humming and dancing cheek to cheek.   Affectionate, loyal, and full of personality—Honey truly is a delight. Come meet her and see for yourself why she’s the total package.   ##2411422##

Mama Phoenix was found as a stray by a dumpster. She had obviously been dumped as she is very sweet and friendly. We noticed she had quite a big belly on her and we suspected that she was pregnant. We got her back to the rescue immediately and she gave birth the very next day! She had 6 beautiful healthy kittens! All will be available for transport in August Our cats and kittens must never go outside or be declawed!

Story
Meet Lily, a sweet, independent spirit looking for her next home. We took Lily in about a year ago when she needed a new place to land. Sadly, I have moved and the landlord does not allow cats. She’s happiest with room to roam; an outdoor cat at heart, but she’ll gladly curl up inside too. A true night owl and natural hunter, she’s low-maintenance — but affectionate when the mood strikes. If you’ve got some space and a soft spot for a quirky, lovable companion, Lily might be the perfect fit.

These pups are in Providence, Rhode Island too!

Story
Spencer is a lovable, cuddly cat who has a lot of love to give. His favorite thing is to cuddle up with you in bed at night and keep your feet warm. His second most favorite thing is belly rubs. He’s 5 years old, fully vaccinated and a rescue. He is allergic, likely to dust, and would benefit from a clean environment but does well with other cats and has played with children briefly. He has never been in a home with dogs. Please note, he has dust allergies that may exacerbate in the winter and so has 2 old scars around his neck from that.

Meet Mistah J & Podo – A Bonded Pair of Sweethearts Say hello to Mistah J and Podo, two big, beautiful orange kitties with hearts full of love. These two sweethearts are looking for a calm, patient home where they can continue their journey together and bring double the joy to their new family. Both Mistah J and Podo are incredibly sweet, though Mistah J can be a little shy at first. Podo, on the other hand, warms up quickly and is ready to soak up affection in no time. They’ve both lived with other cats before and could do well with calm, respectful feline friends. While they haven’t had direct experience with children, a home with older, cat-savvy kids who understand gentle boundaries could be a great fit. Both boys are currently on a prescription diet to help them lose weight, so they’re looking for adopters committed to helping them stay on track with their health goals. A quiet, supportive home where they can feel safe and loved will help these sweet boys thrive. If you’re someone who values the company of affectionate cats and believes good things come to those who wait, Mistah J and Podo might be just the pair for you. Come meet this special duo and experience the love and companionship they’re ready to share. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an Adopter Profile at www.parl.org/adopt and stop by during our open hours (Wed - Sunday, 12-4) to meet them!
