Meet Callie! Adoption fee: $249 Adoption Application: copy & paste https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Meet Callie, a stunning young mama cat with a heart full of love and a calm, gentle spirit. We were contacted by a tenant at an apartment complex who found this pregnant beauty curled up on her porch, seeking a safe place to have her baby. Of course, we couldn’t say no—and not long after arriving in our care, Callie gave birth to a single precious kitten. Now that her mama duties are done, Callie is ready for a forever home of her own—and she deserves nothing less than the best. She is friendly, affectionate, and loves lounging in sunny spots and receiving gentle pets. Callie is in a foster home with several other kitties she could be adopted with if you're looking for a pair. All pets are microchipped, and the registration fee paid for lifetime. Please copy and paste the following URL for the adoption application: https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new family pet to you. The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter. PDAR.info@gmail.com COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have. NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption. If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement. We DO NOT adopt to anyone under the age of 21.

Meet Coral - A survivor - In The New England Area Adoption Fee: $199 Adoption Application: copy & paste https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Coral is an 18-month-old dilute calico with a heartbreaking past but a hopeful future. This sweet girl was rescued from an awful situation when some very cruel boys tried to get their dogs to attack her. Thankfully, a kind person intervened, scooped her up, and brought her to safety with our rescue. Because of what she went through, Coral is understandably fearful of dogs. She would be happiest as an only pet, which makes her the perfect companion for someone who just wants one very special kitty to love. Despite her sad past, Coral’s spirit shines through. She is friendly, gentle, and warms up quickly once she feels safe. She has so much love to give and is simply waiting for the right family to give her the forever home she deserves. Coral is living proof of resilience—and now she’s ready for the happy ending she should have had all along. Could you be the one to give Coral her second chance? Story
Bailey is a cat’s cat and a character. She will play with laser lights and feathers. She will curl up on your lap, usually on her terms. Has lived with other cats and dogs her entire life and gets along well with both. Also used to children elementary and older. Has a home brother Winston and it would be nice if they were adopted together but not necessary.

Story
Meet Cinnamon   Cinnamon is a beautiful medium-haired calico with a story of strength, survival, and just the right amount of sass. Estimated to be around 1–2 years old, this resilient mama knows exactly who she is—and she’s not afraid to show it.   Before rescue, Cinnamon was a familiar face around Taco Bell, doing whatever she could to find a meal. By the time she was finally brought to safety, she had already relocated to a nearby home’s crawl space—where she gave birth and successfully raised her two babies like the strong, devoted mom she is.   Now that her days of surviving are behind her, Cinnamon is ready to be someone’s spoiled house cat.   She absolutely loves pets and will happily show off her expert biscuit-making skills when she’s content. She gets along well with other cats but sets healthy boundaries—she’s not a pushover and won’t tolerate any nonsense. Basically, she’s the perfect mix of sweet and sassy.   Cinnamon would do great in a home that appreciates her independent spirit while still giving her plenty of love and attention.   ##2688914##

Please contact Lisa (lrdirusso@yahoo.com) for more information about this pet.  Adoption Donation  $299 Located: in RI (Transportation costs included to the Northeast, plz ask for more details) Age:  4 months old as of 3/26/26   Blaze is a Sweet Calico girl. She loves everybody and other pets when properly introduced. If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website  www.fohari.org  and email my foster parent for more information:    lrdirusso@yahoo.com   Please verify the location and readiness of this cat with us.  Because we save lives from various locations throughout the United States, some cats may not be in New England yet, nor ready for immediate adoption.   Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in. ALL animals are in foster homes as we do NOT have a  shelter where you can visit. Some animals are in foster care in New England, and some are located in other states. If the initials following the animals name are a state, then that is the state where the animal is located. If initials are not a state, then those are the initials of the foster home outside of New England and you will not be able to meet the animal ahead of time. Complete our online application You will be contacted by phone or email by the foster parent  or a member of our adoption team and will have the opportunity to find out more about the animal, and ask any questions that you have to ensure the animal is a good fit for your household. If the animal is local, you can meet the animal, but you would not be able to take the dog home until you are approved to adopt.  From our end, we will check references and schedule a home visit.  If you live in an apartment, or a condo, we will need to verify permission to own the animal from your landlord or condo board. Please let your vet’s office and references know we will be contacting them. If your  references are positive, we will schedule a home visit by a volunteer. Please try to accommodate the home visit volunteer as most  have busy schedules. Delays in the visit will result in a delay in the adoption. Once you are approved, you will receive an e-mail with your  adoption contract attached. This e-mail will have details about pick up, the balance of the adoption fee that is owed, etc. Please email your signed & witnessed contract and pay your adoption fee in full, and for any animals located out of state, you will be contacted for details about transport to New England. Once you have paid your adoption fee in full and sent back your contract, you can make arrangement to pick up your animal from the foster home or from transport depending on where the animal is located. Please bring a harness, collar, ID tag and leash when you are picking up the dog unless otherwise instructed by the foster parent. Our extensive approval process is intended to ensure the best fit between our animals and adopters. Story
Meet our 50th Anniversary Survivor Group, celebrating these cats incredible journey and resilience. Meet Coach, Rupert, Cerie, Mike White, and Boston Rob! These stunning cats came to us from a home with over 100 cats. they have come a long way since they first arrived at PARL but it is now time for them to start their next chapter. Our boys and one girl are still on the fearful side and love being around other cats. When it comes to human interactions they are still hesitant and will need homes that are understanding and willing to meet them where they are at. We have had these cats in our care since mid February and some have only just started to be comfortable with us in their space. Because these cats came from a hoarding situation, transitions can be difficult for them. They are looking for a cat-savvy homes that will give them the time they need to decompress and show what a wonderful companions they can be. Our special cats would love to go home with a friend! Mike White and Coach seem to be a great pair and Boston Rob and Cirie hang out all the time. We may recommend some of these cats to be adopted as pairs to help them feel comfortable. The Survivor 50 Group is part of our special adoption program! For more information or to set up a meet-and-greet, please email sclode@parl.org and fill out an adopter profile on our website.
