Hazel came to us as a former model once very well known in the industry for her beautiful, mesmerizing greenish brown eyes. Known only as the "Haze", she was one of those celebrities instantly recognizable by just one name like Cher, Prince, Beyonce or Snoopy. On the fast track to grace the covers of Catster, Modern Cat and Yoga Cat magazines, she became derailed by a catnip addiction and now has been reduced to paw modeling and occasional vanity posts for her instagram followers. This is a semi-feral (unsocialized) cat that was no longer allowed to remain in it's original location. This cat was brought in from outdoors and is not socialized and can not be picked up unless familiar with you. These type of cats can be unpredictable and would do best as an outside cat in a safe environment. This would need to be done gradually and we would help you through this. The donation requested is at your discretion and will go towards continuing our feral cat project. Jill and Jack were living outside in a neighborhood. The neighbors complained about all the roaming cats and their feeder decided to put them in a dog crate in his patio in fear that something might happen to them. A trapper helped to get them vetted but they still needed somewhere to go as they couldn’t live locked up forever. We stepped in and took Jack and Jill into the rescue. This independent kitty may take some time to warm up to her new surroundings and people, but with time and patience you’ll discover a loyal affectionate friend. Jill would thrive in a nice quiet surrounding. She’s the queen of her castle, so she would do fine being the only kitty. Aquarius started off life as a community cat and had three litters of kittens before our foster rescued her and her babies. A group of kind neighbors were feeding her so she’s used to humans and is extremely friendly, loving and outgoing! Aquarius loves nothing more than to be pet and scratched and will give you lots of legs rubs and head butts in return. She will play with a wand toy but is just as happy curling up with you for a nap after a catnip treat (she LOVES her catnip!) After living her first year on the streets and being an amazing mama, she deserves a home that will spoil and adore her. Aquarius is great with other cats but would prefer a home without dogs.
