Story
Meet Alice — the brave little tabico who learned to love again. Alice’s story began in a rural shelter, where she arrived as a tiny 4-week-old stray. Heartbreakingly, her sibling didn’t survive, leaving Alice alone, scared, and unsure of the world. She was so frightened that she hissed and spat at anyone who came near — but underneath that fear was a gentle soul just waiting for a chance. Within just two days in foster care, Alice’s transformation was incredible. Once she realized she was safe and loved, she blossomed into a purring, affectionate kitten who adores human attention. Now, she greets people with curiosity instead of fear and happily soaks up all the pets and cuddles she can get. Alice joined our “Brady Bunch” litter — kittens her age who quickly became her playmates and cuddle buddies. Though not related, she fit right in and learned how to be a carefree kitten again. She’s a beautiful tabico — a lovely mix of calico and brown tabby stripes — with expressive eyes that sometimes make her look a little annoyed (don’t be fooled, she’s just got that “resting cute face” ). Alice is curious and playful, but she’s also on the lower-energy side, perfectly content to lounge on the couch and keep you company while you watch TV. Raised in a foster home with cats and dogs of all ages, Alice has grown into a confident, well-adjusted little cat. She’d do best in a home with gentle, older children who understand how small and special she is. If you’re looking for a loving, resilient kitten who’s equal parts independent and affectionate, Alice is ready to curl up next to you and purr her way right into your heart. Alice is estimated to be about 5 months old as of Dec 2025. She is fully vetted: spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, defleaed. She tested negative for FeLV, FIV, and heartworms. Because Alice is a kitten, she must be adopted with her brother peter, a foster friend or into a home with another young cat. Here is some information about why we have this policy: Two kittens are better than one The adoption fee is discounted $25 for each kitten adopted in a pair. Story
Matches was found in a park in Duluth by a family member ,who is severely allergic, we believe she was abandoned. She is being fostered here in my home. She is so very sweet, gentle and playful. Matches loves playing with other cats as well as dogs. She's indoor/outdoor, we have a very nice warmed cat house that she loves, we would allow her to take with her. We will be moving in a few weeks and cannot take her with us. We love 💕 this sweet kitty and want her to go to a kind loving home.

Story
Kayla or storm has two names because my husband and I named her storm and she will respond but the kids insist on calling her kayla. She has multiple colors in her coat, mainly black with brown and orange bits. She is a social butterfly, whenever there's company she's right there in their faces and she has no problem communicating her needs. She will sprawl herself across your feet and if shes real comfortable with you she will straight up lay on your chest. She likes to climb and jump up on things and will thrive with shelves around the house. She ALSO loves windows. I couldn't afford to get her spayed but she needs one since when she's in heat she tends to meow very loudly. She is an amazing cat and does great with other cats and children and will make the right family very happy. We have to get rid of her as I'm now realizing that our baby boy is developing an allergy to the cats and we have to put his health first.

Story
Hey, I'm Nicks! I'm a buff tabby boy kitty, and I am 5 months old. I am a little calmer than my brother Eugene, and a little friendlier than my sister, Miss Felter. I'm not looking for anything crazy; just a good home where I will get to play with some fun toys, be loved by my people, and get pet and maybe get some head or face scritches. I think that's all any cat really needs. Well, okay, and treats. I would love it if I got lots of treats! They're soooo delicious!   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Phone: 770-214-3590. The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.    October 11, 2025, 2:37 pm

Story
Hello, call me Alice, because that's my name! I'm a 2 year old brown tabby and white girl and former mama cat! You can tell me apart from my kittens (who are also beautiful brown tabbies with white) because I have a thin white streak on my nose. I've spent the last few months focused on my babies, and I'm a bit timid about interacting with people, so please be patient with me. I am a curious and watchful kitty. If you wanted to adopt me with one of my kittens (Astro and Aubrey), that would be great, but I'm also okay with letting them grow up on their own; whatever lets them and me live our best lives!  (Aubrey has been adopted.)   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. Story
Hello! My name is Lindsey, and I'm a greyish-brown tabby and white kitty girl! I'm about 3 years old, but I seem younger because I love to play! I'm not picky about toys, either--mouse toys, springs, feathers, sparkly or jingly balls--I love them all! I am also a fan of people and getting affection from you--I have a great purr that I will be happy to share with you while you pet me, or you can hold me and I'll purr then, too! I also like to chat at people--not like, a ton (you should hear some of the cats caterwauling over here; I'm not like that!), but enough that we can have a little conversation. Anyway, I'm so ready to find my furever family, or really, for them to find me!   The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA.
