Penny’s story is anything but ordinary. She first came into our lives as a dedicated mom, sneaking away from her kittens once a day to visit our porch for a quick meal before rushing back to care for her babies. Over the past year, Penny has come to know and trust us, eventually deciding to stick around. When it became clear she was ready for what we believe might be her third litter, we brought her inside to an empty room in our home. Here, she could give birth in a warm, protected, and comfortable environment. The moment she stepped inside, Penny showed us she was meant to be indoors. She immediately got comfortable, used the litter box neatly, and didn't even fuss to go back outside where she had been living for so long. A week later, Penny gave birth to three healthy kittens, and she has been a devoted mother ever since. Her sweet and gentle nature, combined with her resilience in surviving the outdoors and raising her babies, makes her deserving of a loving indoor home. Penny is ready to give and receive love in a forever home where she can be safe and cherished. Penny is estimated to be 2-3 years old. My ex Allen and I adopted Ginny from the complex we used to live in Birmingham. So we had her and two more cats, Caroline and Willy. Caroline never got along with other pets. But Willy and Ginny became besties very fast! After we separated, I picked up Caroline to live with me, while the others stayed with Allen, and we kept in touch through the years. Recently life threw me a curve ball and I had to come and stay at his place until I figured things out. Caroline rejoined the crew as well. Then sadly, Allen passed away suddenly this October. So I had three cats at that point. And less than two weeks ago I also lost Willy :( I have both girls now, but they don't get alomg. I have to move by the 10th and can't have both. I love Ginny, she's so sweet, loves belly rubs and playing with her fish! But Caroline is too attached to me, it's been years.. Ginny is eight years old and very well behaved. I'm sure she also misses her brother, so a family with another cat buddy would be a bonus 😺😺

Dinah showed up at the door of a local community cat feeder who lives there one cold December evening—sweet, friendly, and clearly looking for help! With her striking calico coat and soulful green eyes, she’s one of the Prettiest Cats, but it’s her gentle nature and deep affection for people that truly make her shine. She was recently (late July) found limping, and based on a vet visit she had a hair line fracture of her pelvis!  That was it!  We took her off the street and into our program! She is now fully healed and ready for her final home!! So sweet, so calm and just rested until healed.  She is a delight!   She is FIV positive as we just found out.  But she is healthy and will remain healthy if kept in side with reasonable care and food.  NOTE: For this sweet cat, the Rescue will GUARANTEE her health for anyone adopting indefinitely, we will pay any vet bills (don't expect much), and will also have her teeth cleaned when recommended! Her teeth are pearly white and clean! Precious sisters Miri and Miracle, mini panthers are approximately 8 weeks old. They were found a week ago between a very busy highway and automotive store huddled under a van. These sweet babies are incredibly sweet, grateful, playful, loving purr machines. They have had their first vet and negative for FIV/FELV. They are AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ADOPTION ONLY AS A BONDED PAIR. Hi, I’m Lokey!I’m a gentle, laid-back guy who’s just starting to come out of my shell. At heart, I’m a total couch potato. I love lounging in sunny spots during the day and curling up in a cozy lap in the evening. I’m not quite sure about being picked up yet, and I get a little nervous when there’s a lot of movement around me, but with time and patience, I’ve been learning that people can be pretty great!I have the softest fur around my neck (everyone says so!) and I especially enjoy gentle scratches and pets in the morning. I live with my sister, Jazzy. I like being around her, even though she sometimes gets a little feisty with me. I haven’t met other animals yet, but I think I’d do best in a calm home with another friendly cat who understands that I need a little space at first.Because I’m still learning to feel confident, I take gabapentin to help me relax as I adjust to new things. My perfect family would be patient, understanding, and happy to let me take things at my own pace.
