Story
If you're looking for a sweet & beautiful girl (& her best friend, Plum), then look no further! Stella enjoys all of the other kitties in her foster home, including the resident old kitties & the resident ferret! She takes some time to warm up, is less outgoing than most kitties but after a little bit of time you'll have your new best friend. She'd like to go to a home with less action, a little more of aquiet home, where she & Plum can enjoy you & each other, without lots of noise & commotion. Stella is up to date on shots & is spayed. All cats & kittens adoption fees are a free will donation to approved applicantsMay 15, 2024, 1:40 pm

Story
Willa has some very interesting spots!  Her black nose is so cute and if you are looking for a very calm, very mellow and sweet girl Willa might be your kitty. From a litter of nine, Willa really just enjoys hanging out in her window seat or on the top of the kitty climber.  She is a bit shy at first but once this girl knows she can trust you she is all purrs.  If you have a calm home and a spot in a sunny window that Willa can lounge her days away please go to our website and fill out the Cat Adoption Application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org and as always our kitties are fully vetted for their age and are micro chipped and our adoption fees are a free will offering.  Thanks for considering this sweet shy girl she would love a furever home of her very own.  May 15, 2024, 1:40 pm

Story
Winona is part of the litter of 9 and she is the most reserved but still very sweet.  This whole group of kittens is very unusually marked and they have some of the most mellow demeanor with Winona being the most calm of them all.  She loves to be petted but she is very content to curl up in her spot on the kitty climber that sits by the window of their room.  We rarely see her playing with toys and she is very happy when one of her siblings decides to come join her for a cuddle. When you go to pet her she will raise her head for a scratch and give a soft purr of joy but she doesn't get up or try to make you stay she will just curl back up for another nap.  If you would like a very low maintenance kitten to lounge around the house Winona might be your girl.  She will likely never make a mess and is more than likely respectful of your space but also more than happy to receive your affection.  You can find an application at our website www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org and as always our adoption fees are free will offer and our kittens and cats come fully vetted for their age and micro chipped too!May 15, 2024, 1:40 pm

Story
***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the adoption application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org*** Wendal has been with us since he was a kitten in 2016.  His sister Wendy was adopted but because Wendal comes off as shy at first he just hasn't been chosen.  However, to the volunteers he sees on a regular basis he is very charming and charismatic and is always one of them in the group that is 'helping to scoop litter boxes' as their rouse to get some pets and scratches.  Wendal would do fine in a home with other calm cats as he gets along well with the other cats in his room, & is happy just chillin in a window, on a shelf, or out on the catio. He'd be good as an only cat or with a calm kitty companion (or two or more) All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV negative (unless noted), microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Our adoption fee for cats is free will to approved applicants.**May 15, 2024, 1:40 pm
