Chai is around 6 months old. She is super sweet and seems to loce affection. She does well with other cats, but we are unsure about dogs right now. She would be a purrfect companion for any family! Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at the dog's predominant breed or breed mix. We strongly encourage you to select your new pet by looking at each dog's individual personality and pet qualities rather than relying on a breed label that is only our best guess.    Our adoption fees vary from $150 and up.  All of our dogs are up to date on vaccines, heart worm preventives, and flea/tick medication, and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Gabby is a very good cat, loves to watch out windows or sit on your lap. I've had her for a year and a half. Got her from the shelter. Couldn't ask for a better cat. She is ok being alone, but likes to snuggle on your lap too. I've just been too busy and away from home a lot. I hope to find her a good home.

Millie would be the perfect companion for someone who values tranquility. She was found wondering near the river and we brought her home, nursed her to health and got her updated on shots, chipped, and spayed. She’s sweet and loves cuddles, but little kids aren’t her favorite. She loves a calm environment.

Penny was abandoned by someone in our neighborhood when they moved and has been a stray for about a year. We really want to find her a good indoor home before the end of the year. We believe she may need to be an only cat or go to a home that has experience introducing adult cats to each other. We're unsure how she does with dogs. We've had her vaccinated and tested for parasites/worms and she's perfectly healthy. Probably about 3-4 years old, according to our vet. We can provide a litterbox, toys, and a cat tree. She's so sweet and has a lot of personality. She's litter box trained and laid back. Penny deserves a loving home after all she's been through.

Meet Cheddar! Cheddar was abandoned in a hotel room in May of 2022, despite multiple attempts to reach the people who left him, the hotel was never able to get in contact with them, and he has been in our care ever since. Cheddar would much prefer to be a solo cat but he does tolerate the other kitties here at TKW, he is very affectionate, sometimes moody, and quite lazy. His favorite pass-times are bird watching, napping in laundry baskets, and getting head kisses.

Chai is a energetic and lovey girl, while not the snuggling type, she will happily walk in circles while kneading and purring to be pet. Her favorite things are begging for human food, wrestling her siblings (especially Earl Grey) and zooming around they house. Chai is available for adoption to a home with a similarly energetic cat or with one of her siblings.

Meet Aspen! Aspen was transferred to TKW on 11/02/2023 from another shelter that was overrun with kittens. He arrived with his brother, Hawthorn, and sister, Juniper. While Juniper was quickly adopted, Aspen and Hawthorn has been with us ever since. Aspen is a sweet, playful, and particular boy. He loves his brother but is very particular about the humans he wants affection from. He is not only gorgeous, but also extremely soft with a very cute squeaky meow.
