Story
Mickey has been a wonderful addition to our family. However, when we can tell that he is very stressed with the two young/hyper dogs and our 19 month old. He likes to keep to himself. He is not aggressive towards my child or the dogs, but just prefers to be alone or with adults. He does fabulous with his litter box and he is very lovable. It would take some time for him to adapt, but once he does, he is a great companion. We feel it would be better for him to find a new family where he is in a much more peaceful environment. We have another cat that he is fabulous with but they are not bonded. I feel he would also do well with a senior dog & make a great companion for such. He just needs a more calm environment to thrive in.

Sadie Mae is 4 years old and by far the perfect cat. She does not scratch furniture or go to the bathroom in the house other than her litter box. She is not aggressive and I have never seen her hiss or even use her claws unless on a scratching post. She is super calm and will just lay around and want love. Her favorite toys are scratching post, anything small that has a feather attached, or a red light. Unfortunately my dog and her cannot get along. She is very willing to be around the dog but every time she comes around my dogs tries to attack her. In which Sadie doesn’t not defend herself in any way and will just run away. For her safety I am looking for a good home where I know she can roam free. We have had to separate her from the rest of the house and it is not fair for her to have a secluded life.

Story
Ivy is a sweet, vocal (during feed time), and loving cat. She is about 2 years old and is up to date with all vaccines and her annual vet visit was just completed. She does well on hills sensitive stomach food and fancy feast beef pate she loves the hills sensitive stomach kibble as well. She has a little bit of a diva personality but in the best way. We adopted her at the KY humane society. She would do amazing with a kitten or younger cat than her because before she was adopted they found her at forest preserve with her babies. Then we adopted her and she mothered our kitten. We're moving to a new apartment that has a cat limit and we feel as though she would be the best cat to be able to adjust to a new home out of the cats we currently own. She loves belly rubs, playing with string toys, and has a favorite flopping fish toy that would have to go with her to her new home. She likes to socialize but also appreciates her alone time (sleeping)

Frog is a friendly playful tabby! He is very affectionate and loves to lay and sit in your lap or be near you. Frog is very curious and does not like restrictions on where he can go. Unfortunately with a baby on the way we are unable to accommodate him and give him the freedom to have access to our whole home. We are hoping he can find a home where he has free range of everything and has someone that can give him the attention and time he deserves. He does not mind dogs and has been around big and small dogs. He does fine with other cats as well. He would also do just fine with older kids who don’t mind him sharing their space. He is used to being held and does not scratch or bite when you hold him like a baby.

Tubbers is a 9 year old Grey cat. She is really sweet and loves cuddling, eating, and chasing toys or laser pointers. She unfortunately does not get along with my other cat, my other cat being a cat I found on the street and does not do well with other pets. Tubbers would do really well as a single cat or with other pets that are good with cats, she might be very shy at first. The most important thing is that tubbers goes to a good home, she is very loving.

Meet Cheddar! Cheddar was abandoned in a hotel room in May of 2022, despite multiple attempts to reach the people who left him, the hotel was never able to get in contact with them, and he has been in our care ever since. Cheddar would much prefer to be a solo cat but he does tolerate the other kitties here at TKW, he is very affectionate, sometimes moody, and quite lazy. His favorite pass-times are bird watching, napping in laundry baskets, and getting head kisses.

Available for PRE adoption, not available until after spay in July Io and her sisters entered TKW at just 3 weeks old after their mother was unfortunately hit by a car, and had been without food or heat for two days, Io had a harder time than her sisters adjusting to bottle feeding, and had to be tube fed for a week before finally taking the bottle on her own. Despite her rough start, Io is now thriving although smaller than her sisters. She loves to snuggle and burrow into blankets for naps, and is very loud when it comes to feeding time, refusing to miss out on any more meals. Io will be available for adoption with one of her sisters or to a home with a similarly aged cat after their spays in mid June, The Kitten Wonderland does not adopt out kittens as solo pets for the health and well being of the kittens.
