Hello Hoomans. Thank you for stopping by my picture! My name is Kiki and I am a 5 to 6 year old calico, domestic shorthair, female cat. Yes, I know what you noticed first; I’m gorgeous, right? That’s what is known as calitude; being gorgeous and not being afraid to admit it. I came to Golden Paws some time ago when my owner passed away and there wasn’t anyone available to keep me. I love attention and being petted on. If there’s someone available to pet on me, or itch my chin, or rub my ears, I’m your girl. I do have an issue with my bladder. My veterinarian had to remove a stone from it, and I need a special food that keeps my bladder in check. The folks here at Golden Paws said that they would send all my special food with my new hoomans, at least as much as they have here on hand. I was adopted out one time, but was brought back because of my bladder issue. As long as I have plenty of water intake and my special food, I don’t think my bladder will be a problem. It will need to be checked on by my new Hoomans from time to time, just to make sure that everything is hunky dory. I also love mice toys, any kind of mice toy. I will play with them all day long if I have the chance. So go ahead and fill out an application and come on down for a meet and greet. I’m sure that once you get acquainted with me, you will fall in love, just like the folks here have done. Seriously, I am a great cat. As we go through life, we all get banged up a little. Tell you what, the folks here have been very good to me, but I need my own forever home and hooman again. Meet Joe! 🐾When Joe first arrived, he was not so sure about the indoor life. In fact, on day one, this wall scaling grey and white acrobat put on a full parkour exhibition, climbing right up the wall to avoid the staff!After a couple of weeks to settle in and realize we are all friends here, Joe has decided humans might actually be alright. He has transitioned from high speed stuntman to a quiet, gentle observer. While he is not going to tackle you at the door for snuggles just yet, he will happily sit by and quietly accept all the chin scratches and sweet talk you have to give.At around 23 weeks old (just shy of 6 months), Joe is at that perfect age where his adventurous spirit is balancing out into a sweet, steady companionship. He just needs a patient adopter who will let him warm up at his own speed, and maybe keep the high flying stunts strictly reserved for feather wands and cat trees!
