We adopted Holly in December of 2020 from the Blue Moon Cat Sanctuary in Witter, AR. At the time, she was almost two years old. She’s now almost seven years old. She is a brown tabby cat with hazel eyes. She is mostly quiet, only meowing when delivering toys to us in the evening. She prefers not to be held but will lay next to you. She tolerates children, but she does not want to be picked up by them and will nip at them. She has a sweet personality and is laid back. Holly has tummy issues though and requires a specific kind of prescription cat food. Even with the special diet, she vomits more often than typical feline hairballs. We would love for Holly to find a home with someone that can give her the love and attention she deserves. We have a busy family life and know she would prefer a more quiet environment.

Hiding at any given opportunity, protective of her space, and preferring to recieve zero attention, we were worried she might never come around. However, space to breathe, the adoption of all her kiddos, and most importantly, lots and lots of time, transformed this dainty tuxedo beauty. Once the cat that would hiss at a stranger's approach and refuse to leave her kitty condo, Rainbow now boldly enjoys all the fun the cat room has to offfer her. She weaves amongst the cat trees, purring and rubbing all over the furniture. She can still be easily startled, but Rainbow is able to make friends with visitors now. She is fantastic with the other cats and has never started a fight or been rude to another cat. Rainbow's ideal home would be a quiet, patient family that allows her to get comfortable at her own pace. She is fully capable of being a beloved and confident house cat that basks in human attention, but more than likely, she will need some time and space to decompress and get comfy once she arrives home. Over a year ago, Pamela got lucky. As a petite and pregnant stray, she was picked up by a compassionate family who were suprised to find that she was pregnant. She was able to stay with this family and grow healthy, raise her kittens, enjoy life. However, due to family circumstances changing, the family had to downsize the number of animals under their care. Pamela is described as a social and loving family member who gets along with dogs and children! She is a cuddlebug who loves to sleep in bed with her humans. She has no issue with loud noise, enjoys catnip mice, and is a big conversationalist - if you talk, she will talk back! The shelter environment has brought out Pamela's anxieties, and because of that, she is not enjoying time spent around other cats - even her own son - but we are hopeful that once back in a home environment, this will change.
