Calico kittens & cats in Ithaca, New York

hazel needs to be rehomed due to her not getting along with our other animals, shes an amazing sweet girl and loves to cuddle. i recommend a one or two person house hold with no other pets, or atleast a space for her separate from other pets. she loves playing, sleeping in your arms, being crazy, talking to you.

I saw a desperate ad for help with 6 found kittens in their basement. I thought I could accommodate 2. I have a small outbuilding with a Senior cat I accepted from my sister who is ill. I was able to get them spayed by the Cat Coalition, however they do not have any fosters available. I cannot sustain them too much longer due to my own health issues and I know they need a place they can run freely, not being so confined. We have 2 hunting dogs and I cannot let them out of the shed. They are sweet, and have their rabies shots, but no other vaccines. Can you help with other options if you are unable to help? I also am going through financial issues, plus have numerous medical issues and costs. Thank you for any information you can provide.

Ahkari found a local farm to make her introductions, but decided that indoor life was far more to her liking, and who can blame her? Delicious food on demand, clean water, a litterbox valet – roughing it outdoors can’t even begin to hold a torch to these delights! At two years of age, Ahkari’s still taking her time to get settled into the world around her, so if your home is a cultivated space of peace and composure, then Ahkari will likely settle down in no time at all!She’s a big fan of hidey spaces with her safety blanket (kind of like Linus), and would prefer back pets over being picked up. If you’re willing to give her a few moments to get to know you, she’ll emerge from the safety of her blanket cave for some adoration, so she’d likely do best in a home with older kids who can be considerate to her slower pace, and similarly laidback animals.
