Calico kittens & cats in Ithaca, New York

Petunia and Cuddles are a bonded, sweet pair of 3 year old cats. They were brought into a busy home as kittens from a farm. Cuddles loves sitting on laps, playing with toys, and lots of petting and cuddling. Petunia is a bit shy at first, but once trust forms, she sleeps right on her favorite human. She is a sweet cat who enjoys watching birds, playing on the cat tree, and indulging in catnip. Unfortunately, these two are not a fan of other cats or dogs. They are wonderful when their other housemate pets are not in the same room, and they can enjoy their humans without competition. However, with other pets around, they hide under the bed. They will be grateful and happy to spoil humans with love in a new home that can focus only on them.

This is Sophie she was abandoned in early December and I have taken her in just outta the cold for now but I cannot keep her sadly, she is very well behaved and just wants to be near someone to cuddle mostly, her face just has a few scratches on it from my animals just not being friendly, she’s just looking for a forever home she really is the sweetest

Fiona is a beautiful girl..   Very shy as she is adjusting to shelter life.  She came to us with the rest of her kitty family when her owner was placed in a assisted living facility. This beautiful kitty was found by me living on the streets. She is a young girly with previous experience as a mama, having had her babies who were all successfully rehomed last year. She is rambunctious and very loving, likes to cuddle and get all the attention she can get! Preferred only cat but does get along with younger cats and small dogs, a bit of a strong personality but no major behavioral issues if provided with good scratching posts! She does struggle slightly with older more established cats (warmed up to mine eventually) and young children who dont respect her boundaries (me too girl!) Love her deeply and hope to give her to a home who can meet her needs better than I can currently

Cece is 14 years old. We have owned her since she was a kitten. All her life she has been an indoor/outdoor cat. Our life right now has made it impossible to continue to take care of her. She is the friendliest cat you will ever meet, she is considered the neighborhood cat. She will come right up to you and want affection. Whoever takes her needs to love her and give her last years, good ones.

Slurms MacKenzie came to us as a stray, but thanks to a kind foster person, we now know so much more about this handsome young man! He likes to take things at his own pace when it comes to getting to know you, and he appreciates a very Zen household with plenty of hidey holes for him to relax in. Give him some time to settle in, entice him with treats, and you may get to see a rare zoomie or two from this fetching guy. He`s also got a keen sense of curiosity, so make sure that your trash bins are secure against his inquisitive nature. We also know that this quiet dude is FIV+, which means that his immune system is more susceptible to things that another cat would brush off, and will require biannual wellness checkups. His outdoor excursions are also at an end, but with enough gentle attention, tempting meals, and warm napping spots, we`re sure that he`ll be content with this change in his life. This young gentleman was left with a cat sitter and his owner never came back to pick him up. His caretaker wasn`t able to keep him permanently, so our team stepped in and brought Leo into the shelter. He had a bit of a rough start when he first got here, so we sent him to a loving foster home where he can learn to trust people again and not fear abandonment. His foster has some really sweet things to say about him. Have a read: `Although Leo has been through a lot, he has the sweetest personality: he runs up to even new people and is often on a visitor`s lap within five minutes. This guy was left alone for a long time in his previous situation, and he is so grateful for all of the human attention he gets. If you want a companion who will greet you every time you walk in the room, Leo is the cat for you. He`s also happy to soak up human attention through playtime, jumping and chasing after wand toys. He`s a very gentle kitty when playing with children or adults. For solo play, he loves to bat a spiral toy around the room and carry it back to his scratching post in his mouth. His nutritional needs were also not being met in his previous situation, but he`s making up for it now. His hearty appetite for wet food has been helping him gain weight, and he has yet to meet a treat he doesn`t love!`He has lived with other cats and we have no history of him with dogs, but our adoptions team is happy to provide all the information needed to facilitate a slow and thoughtful introduction.
