Story
Good morning! My mom is 75 years old and she's been taking care of two cats (see pictures) helping out her granddaughter that recently had a baby. The two cats are well taken care of and they are safe living on my mother's back enclosed porch. The care of the cats are becoming a financial burden on my mother because she's on a fixed income. We would like to see these two cats placed with someone that could care for them. The black cat is a male cat and the gray cat is a female cat both cars are 14 months old, they've had their shots and they both have flea collars on. Please let me know if you could help with this. Thank you, Cynthia Graham

Story
Indigo came to stay with us from a home with too many cats. Indigo spent some time in a foster home for a little bit while she waited for a room to open up (and to get a little bit of socialization). Her foster family reported that she uses the litterbox like a champ and once she`s brave, she will allow you to pet her. This shy but sweet girl has been hanging out in a room with some of her other former housemates. She loves to perch on the top cloud of the room because it offers the best views! She allows folks who can reach her to pet her and will come down off the top cloud if you`re patient enough. We don`t have any history on how she`d do with dog or kids, but she`d be ok with other cats, as long as you`re willing to do a slow and thoughtful introduction. If you`d like to meet Indigo, stop by the adoption center Wednesday-Sunday 12-4:30 (Thursday 12-6:30).You can also reach our adoptions team:by email: adoptions@spcaonline.comby phone (during open hours): 607-257-1822 x221

Story
If you`ve been looking for a giant, friendly orange lap cat, look no further than Chloe! Originally brought to us when her owner passed away, Chloe found a new home where she discovered that dogs are a little bit too much for her liking. So, she’s back with us, and on the lookout for a low-key, dog free home where she can lounge on your lap or recharge her social battery with a long nap next to you. She’s still quite curious and loves to explore, and she’s been open to sharing her living space with other cats before, so if you’ve got a similarly relaxed cat, they may become new besties!Stop by our adoption center Wednesday-Sunday: 12:00-4:30 PM (Thursday: 12:00-6:30 PM) to get to know this lovely lap queen! You can also reach our adoptions team:by email: adoptions@spcaonline.comby phone (during open hours): 607-257-1822 x221

Story
Say hello to our larger-than-life friend, Tommy! This handsome hunk of feline came to us as a stray, so we`re still getting to know him as he settles in. Unfortunately, since we don’t know much about his history, we can’t predict how he’d feel about living with small children or other animals, but we can offer suggestions for a smooth introduction into the new home. We’ll update Tommy’s bio as we learn more about him, but if you’d like to come in and get to know him a little better yourself, stop by our adoption center Wednesday–Sunday: 12:00–4:30 PM (Thursday: 12:00–6:30 PM).You can also reach our adoptions team:by email: adoptions@spcaonline.comby phone (during open hours): 607-257-1822 x221
