Calico kittens & cats in Oxford, North Carolina

We got Cali as a rescue kitten who had been abandoned. She is playful and has been great with our two year old. We are only seeking to rehome her because we recently found out she is diabetic and with another baby on the way we just don’t have capacity to care for her the way she needs.

We couldn't all agree on a name, so we kept calling her Kitten, and it stuck. She is so sweet and full of energy. She wants to play all the time and my older cat doesn't. My older cat clearly doesn't want to have a sister. I know Kitten just wants to play, but she is stressing out my older cat. She is hissing and growling all the time, even when Kitten is just walking by. It's not a good situation. We need a new home for her. She loves to play fetch and chase (she chases and wants to be chased). Very sweet and affectionate. I picked her from someone who was moving and couldn't take her to the new apt. She is about 7 months old and has an appt to be spayed on 9/3.

Sassy: Dilute tortious shell/calico mix About 1 1/2 years old Fully vetted…spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, on flea/tick preventative, FIV/FELV negative. Not microchipped yet. Sassy and her mother were rescued from a trailer park in East Bend where there were many stray cats with many being ill.  She was a bit wild but adapted to indoor life fine.  She was quite a little rascal but has calmed down being a petite adult now.  Sassy is very food motivated and loves to play and chase things.  Once acclimated, she is quite loving, likes to be in her foster’s lap and gets along with cats and dogs she knows.  She and her mother aren’t really bonded at this point, so they would do fine being separated.September 5, 2024, 5:07 pm

Mama Calico: Calico anywhere between 2 1/2 to 5 years old. Fully vetted…spayed, dewormed, vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, on flea/tick preventative.  Still needs a microchip. Rescued from a trailer park in East Bend where there were many cats, some very ill. Mama is a sweet, loving girl, but can be persnickety with high strung cats or cats that are prone to fight.  When acclimated and comfortable, she loves attention and being in a lap.  She loves playtime with toys and can sometimes have zoomies from being excited.  She currently lives with 25 other cats and gets along fine with almost all of them.  With acclimation, she really likes dogs and wants to rub on them.  Her daughter Sassy is up for adoption also, but they aren’t  necessarily bonded at this point.September 5, 2024, 5:07 pm

This tiny little 5-6 pound girl is waiting for her purrfect person. She is shy to start out with and needs a patient loving person to give her a small safe spot to acclimate in so she can become the lover girl she is when she feels safe and loved. She does great with other cats and has been around mellow dogs. She likes to have a cubby/hammock/spot to hang out and watch things from before she comes out for attention. Despite her tiny size, she has some sass when scared but that dissipates with treats and her knowing you are not going to hurt her.
